This is embarassing. It doesn't matter how good fans we are or what we do. That team is a disgrace. You can always guarentee that bunch of bottlers will always let us down. I'm so sick of this, this has been the worst season ever. I expect Rupes is rubbing his grubby little hands in glee somewhere. We'd fare better playng a fan's 11 today. I suggest we do that for the rest of the season, a pay to play type thing. We've just as much chance of staying up that way.

Hasn't the last two of these ended 1-2 Derby? I'll go with that. With the form they're in we'd do well to get a draw. To be honest, from those highlights, if we give a more a team with better finishers those chances (Birmingham anyone??) we'll get destroyed!!

Just got back from the game... Well... I really don't know what to say. That was a real sucker punch at the end but it was always coming, we're not unlucky, we're Southampton FC. And too many times I've seen this, not finishing off teams when we are dominating them and then being made to pay for it. This smacks of Barnsley at home last season (?). Exactly the same. How McGoldrick is keep ing his place in the team is beyond me. He was truely woefull. His statistics off over 90 shots now this season and less than half on target with only what is it, 7? 9? goals??? This proves he is greedy and not really very good. Someone on here wrote that Euell was ineffective once on which makes me wonde what game they were watching as he had 2 of our best efforts and did more chasing down and running in the short time he was on then "deadly Dave" managed in the whole game. Wotte was right to take McGlaggon off as it just wasn't his day. Now I'm not making excuses but the linesman on the kingsland side was awful, truely awful. He hadn't a clue what his job actually entailed. This isn't the reason for us losing but it certainly didn't help matters. Once again, for there first goal I'm not so sure it was actually a corner as it really looked like their guy booted it out and by the sounds of it so did the chappel end... All in all I have come away in a rather somber mood. I can't understand how we didn't win, but at the same time am really not that suprised. My ratings fwiw- Davis - 6 (more like last seasons Davis, seems to have a communication problem with Saijes) Surman - 7 (went missing a few times but reasonable) Perry - 6 (strong in the air and in challenge) Saijes - 6 (good game, got forward well, but looked at fault for second goal) James -5 (he's really not a right back is he?) Lallana - 4 (terribly inefective, has no positional sence, a shadow of what he was) Wotton - 6 (slow to move the ball about but got stuck in and seemed to want it) Gillet - 6 (I was suprised to see him come off, thought he was doing ok) McGlaggon - 3 (not his day at all, looked lost) McGoldrick - 2 (Greedy, slow, half arsed effort) Saganowski - 7 (no goals, but little service and never gave up, kept going and is our best player right now) Subs - BWP - 6 (ran about, had a few good efforts, typical BWP) Euell - 7 (Looked like he wanted it, was unlucky not to score) Sniederlin (not enough time to make an impact of any kind) I'm afraid after this I feel L1 is looking more of a certainty....

To be honest I'm a bit disapointed at this thread... When I saw the title I thought one of our players had a new nickname I didn't know about...
