None taken! Like I say, just passing on what I've heard... In all honesty he's been spot on with a couple of transfers. Got Lambert, Chaplow and Barnard bang on the money... but then he was so certain about Stock (remember that?) and that didn't come off at all, so I'm going to go with "fairly" confident but wouldn't bet the farm just yet...

Just to pass on my info (don't shoot the messenger, please..) Brian Howard to sign on loan till end of the season with view to make the move permanent in summer. (I'd imagine that this is promotion dependant?) He would have joined us last week but stayed at Reading to play in the FA cup this weekend and get his FA cup bonus from making an appearance. That's what I've been told, would love this to be true.

I've had a few quite uncomfortable meetings... the ones that stick out... Both of these come from working at Southampton Airport back in the day... 1) Was in the toilets going to **** when I became quite aware someone was having a very loud painful sh*t in one of the cubicles, now this guy wasn't holding back, these were proper feral animal noises with accompanying audible bowel movement... I tried to get out quickly but as i was washing my hands the cubicle opened and out stepped Paul Jones. He looked at me, smiled, patted his belly and walked out. Didn't even wash his hands the dirty fecker... 2)I think Saints were flying out to Newcastle and the flight was delayed, the bloody despatch agent made me hand out £1.50 vouchers to each player... bloody embarrassing... to their credit Anders, Jo and Claus sat and chatted to me for quite a while, not sure they ever used those vouchers... As a side note, I used to see quite a lot of Beats when he was here, he gets a lot of stick but he was always ok by me. Used to talk quite a lot, did love the club and the area, plus used to throw comps my way every now and then. That said, i was there when he got banned from Leisure World for jumping on a car bonnet over and over...

Just got back - Just in case anyone wondered... There are long sleeved versions. The shirt actually looks really nice on. Its the normal umbro material, very light. The bottom left corner of the front of the shirt has a triangle for the "tailored by umbro" but and if you turn that bit over it has an inscription that says something about the anniversary with the season dates on it (2010-2011) Very happy with mine, really like the shirt, got interviewed for the website while in the shop too... don't know if it'll make it onto the website but quite surreal nonetheless.
