  1. My Hull City supporting friend hopes we beat (her terminology) the White Shite...
  2. No logo on envelope but marked Advanced Mail First Class AAGR-UCAB-YUBY The last code presumably variable in that format. HTH. As to MOG's question: for me as a season ticket holder buying a single ticket it was straightforward and quick.
  3. PS Post has just arrived... :-))
  4. So will they have bought their tickets amongst the hard core behind the goals or up near me in the gods? Quaking, I am.. But don't worry Whelk, I'll hit them with my crutch, (with the carefully concealed lead weight in the bottom).
  5. You won't need the Codice Fiscale. Be careful of ZTL zones, limited traffic zones often in historical centres and bigger cities, where you will be fined if you enter them. This for example: https://www.accessibilitacentristorici.it/ztl/Veneto_en/verona.html I managed 7 years without an accident but that was in the North. Go through the Mont Blanc tunnel or similar and bingo!, on the other side they use their indicators. 🙂
  6. More importantly I thought was telling the crowd to be patient, also very sensible..
  7. Ah. To be honest I don't even recall seeing an electronic option. Drat! Blind panic indeed!
  8. To celebrate getting to Wembley I've just paid my £5 just in case I feel an urgent need to post more than 3 times a day.. Just to confirm that the upper tier was £27 for me, and right at the front (2nd row). This gives a very good view of patterns of play and since I broke my foot on my recent visit means I shouldn't have anybody stood in front of me! Just out of interest, would anybody have the random knowledge as to whether they allow crutches into Wembley? Saw plenty at St. Mary's on Friday but didn't notice any at Wembley.
  9. The other week when a group of us from Portsmouth way went up to watch the women's cup final we went up the A3 to Morden and on a Sunday parked from free there and then got the tube. It worked well for us. There's a myriad of possibilities, but this time I'd like to avoid driving and have a pint or two as a pre-med. Does anybody have any suggestions as where to break a tube journey for a decent pint? Around Wembley itself does not attract!
  10. You must be ++++ing joking. Right wing wotsits! And anybody who says keep politics out of sport hasn't been paying attention! You can as easily keep politics out of sport as Southern Water can keep sewage out of our rivers.. The advantage of that particular chant is that it's not partisan. 😉
  11. A simple chant of "Election Now!" would do me..
  12. Just bought my ticket: painless. Just got in from shopping and straight on the PC and now I have to unpack the food shop! Nice discount for us wrinklies and as I was at Wembley last week for the Women's cup final had an idea where I wanted to sit and got it at the front of the upper tier. Just hope my broken foot continues to heal well..
  13. Bastard! 😉 You could have put that in a charity box! And I don't mean the bookie's.
  14. Yep, just had a look, so you should be able to find a bar showing DAZN but there is also the Serie B playoff between Palermo-Samp, and Serie A Fiorentina v Napoli so you might want to find a multi-screen place or steal the remote..
  15. Yes, thank goodness we never played S****horpe!
  16. Good analysis. Back to the U18 goal by Rodriguez which I saw in the game's video highlights on the OS was both the athleticism and skill involved. His moustache may be the most advanced in that age group but he's got some skill too!
  17. It didn't work for me, you still can't manage an informative post or one without overdone sarcasm.
  18. Off to Wembley with team-mates. I'll check afterwards to avoid stress and save my liver by not watching down the pub..
  19. To be looked at, certainly, but not necessarily the right place for everyone, as the Dibling example shows.
  20. I suspect they won't get an opportunity at Vitesse Arnhem in the future..
  21. I thought he looked deceptively quick, not like a speedy winger and, unlike Sulemanna, seems to know what he's doing..
  22. Any streams? TIA
  23. Yeah.. I've told my manager I'm not available for a friendly on the 26th. My Pompey supporting team all laughed at me. Bastards!;-)
  24. The local FAs get some tickets, so maybe enquire through your kids' teams, or probably better if you have any contacts not in Hampshire or over the Eastern side. I'm a season ticket holder so sorted, but none of my team mates over in Portsmouth would be interested!
