  1. 5 0 Ricky hattrick, Billy and Fonte
  2. Pointless thread we will win and go up in 2nd place on Saturday
  3. Guly will start on the right. Remember he played very well on the right at the start of the season
  4. Was my hero as a nipper, had to have his white Addidas boots that he wore when he was at Everton...... Great moment when he signed for us. A true legend, a gentlemen and top bloke that loved south coast football. RIP
  5. Winning 3-1 @ Peterborough.......... almost, so near, but not quite there........
  6. Doubt it will be a sell out as Coventry has not sold all their tickets and have returned some. Hoof Ham sold out their entire allocation as we did, as well as corporate seating hence the record attendance against Hoof Ham. My Guess would be around 31,800.
  7. Don't normally bother reading the Echo, but a mate just email the link. Apologies if already been posted but a good article for a change! http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/9666377.Don_t_feel_down___far_better_to_go_up_at_St__Mary_s/r/?ref=rss
  8. Unfortunately DC was over the hill. A few decent performances at the start of the season and then the injuries kicked in after, what was it 9 games?? Would have been good if he was less injury prone and 5 years younger. Billy Sharpe is now a great job for us in any case.
  9. Tonight
  10. Ricky LAMBERT, has to be!
  11. Ricky Lambert Way, way down the list in 2nd and 3rd, Morgan and Jos.
  12. Frankly if we take 3000 to 3500 supporters to Borro it shows how well the Club is supported. Fair play to everyone going, I wish I was going, but having done the Palace and Peterborough plus 9 other away games this season its a little hard to justify.............
  13. Great away day, thoroughly enjoyable. Chappers, well his work rate was fantastic, tracking back and tackling awsome but his passing and crosses at times were dreadful. He has not regain the form he was in before injury. He has the ability just needs the time to get back to full match fitness and confidence. So get off his back and show your support for Chappers and all the players Overall wonderful team performnace with soooo many players having great games difficult to choose the MOM. Roll on Saturday and another 3 pts!!! COYR
  14. But that has been very true of late!! Guly has continually underperformed since Xmas.
  15. Yep, absolute wa*&er!! There were 2 infront of me more interested in the Hoof Ham and Reading match than our game. In fact one of tehm missed the first 2 goals cos he looking at his Iphone!! C ock! Why do people not understand that if we win our games we are promoted and do not have to rely on others!!!
  16. Which pub near the ground??? Any thoughts?
  17. This and top of the league!!!
  18. Gr8 goals from MLT. Voted for the goal against Newcastle as well!! COYR
  19. Close this thread it is irrelevant. It does not apply to Saints as we will be promoted automatically.
  20. Well CL, an excellent OP anmd some interesting comments from all angles. My glass is always half full: we are 3 points clear of WHU; our destiny is in our hands. Yes, I was f$%ked off on Friday, even more hacked off by the gluttless bum bandits giving a win to the hoof ball merchants, but two wins and a draw and we are guranteed 2nd if not 1st place. So whats the problem? I went corporate on Friday for my lads birthday and Ricky came in after the game. Was lucky enough to have a chat with him, he was very positive. In answer to my comment "keep your head up Ricky", he simply said "my head is up and we will be promoted!". He gave a very frank view of the result, "Reading were ruthless and we should have had more from the game. Disappointed with the result but our target is to win the league". BTW anyone thinking Ricky was carrying a knock, I dont think he would have been allowed to come up to give a post match talk if he had an injury!! Ricky is positive, we need to be positive. Support the team, get behind the players and believe. I will probably have no voice left after tomorrow, similar to after the Palace game. We will achieve automatic promotion and after tomorrows games we will be top of the league again!!! COYR
  21. No. Win, win, win, win, win!!
  22. Hammond had a great game, Chaplow the best for a while but still short of his best, Cork gave the ball away far too often and seemed to want one too many touches. He has not rediscovered his early season form and needs to now.
  23. If Reading lose tonight, every possibility, and once we have won and beaten Reading on Friday we will win the league at Peterborough!!
  24. we were going mental in the itchen north but didnt run on the pitch.... 1. Norris scored in the 93.59 minute 2. Harding could have hoofed it instead of puting out for a throw 3. After Jose headed clear, no one closed norris down, SDR stood and watched, nither CM's had tracked back 4. we went down the other end and had a headed chance in the extra extra time added on because of the fans on the pitch Did those fans cost us the game? no probably not but they gave everyone someone to blame
  25. Thanks Katalinic will put the yellow shiurt back in the draw!!
