Well Lambert has to start. We were toothless in attack until Ricky came on, so he has to lead the line. Steve Davis is another starter for me - did enough in the 25 minutes he was on, to earn a start. Unless we sign a centre back and goalkeeper - yes a goalkeeper, how many times did KD push the ball back into the middle of the box yesterday he will cost us big time this season I'm afraid - then the defence stays the same. So: Davis Fox, Fonte, Jos, Clyne Guly, Morgan, Davis, AL Lambert, JRod If Ramirez is signed then in for Guly.

Was told early this morning that we would be signing Phillips, Butner and Ramirez today. Didnt think too much of it, although the source was right about Jrod and Clyne. Now that it is being reported on Sky that Ramirez is going to sign, thought I'd post this........

I got the DVD thinking that last season's footage would be similar to the month by month "Road to the Premier League" on Saints Player, which I thought was superb!! The DVD is however, a bit of a let down in that there is some idiot talking over the goals instead of the Radio Solent commentry which was used in Saints Player. But its great to have all the goals on DVD its just the talk over that's lets it down.

Went SMS yesterday and there was a queue of around 20 @ 1pm..... Think 24/25k season tickets would be a huge result for the Club

Renewed, Block 4 row AA

Been in Block 4 for the last few seasons, always standing from row BB back. When Blocks 1-3 opened everyone stood with no harrassment. Go for it will be good atmosphere close to the away supporters

I have emailed the Club as I believe both players, Danny Fox in particular deserves a huge pat on the back. Kindness and thoughtfulness are not two words normally associated with football players, but as everyone has said on this thread it really makes you proud to be a Saints fan when the players do something like this.

Last night we went to the Players Awards dinner but unfortunately our friends were unable to go as their 8 year old son was admitted to hospital during the afternoon. They asked us if we could get Danny Fox, Ben's favourite player, to write a get well message, which we thought we would be able to do. When we were talking with Danny he said no problem and was delighted to write a message. When we explained the situation he was genuinely concerned and said if he can do anymore just let him know. Later in the evening we started talking to Danny again and he remembered our earlier conversation and again said he would like to help and prehaps visit Ben in hospital. He gave us his mobile number and after a few texts this morning Danny contacted our friends and arranged to visit Ben on Sunday. Much to everyones surprise Danny turned up this afternoon to see Ben together with Adam Lallana and a signed shirt. It really was a lovely thing for Danny to do; our friends are needless to say, very worried and Danny's and Adam's visit lifted everyones spirits. Ben is doing very well and hopefully everything is moving in the right direction. Just thought it was worth posting to show that our players do have caring side and are willing to try to help others. Top bloke Danny Fox!!

Absolutely fantastic evening!! Sat with James Ward Prowse, Jack Stephens and Ryan Doble, very interesting talking with them and how the club looks after these young lads. All the players were fantastic. Nigel Adkins is a wonderful bloke, spent time with everyone who wanted to chat. Worth every penny. Graham Poll was the best speaker, extremely funny especially his explanation of why he didnt send of the Croatian for 2 yellows in the World Cup.

I have a season ticket since SFC introduced terrace season tickets at The Dell, the season before Keegan arrived I think, so around 1979. Usually SFC offer a discount to those already having a season ticket and anyone buying a new seaosn ticket pays more. Have no problem with this as this is a loyalty discount.
