Frankly, I do not believe we have anything to worry about. We have quality Championship players throughout the squad; team spirit is essential and worth more than a few points throughout the season - remember at Wimbledon, no real quality players but huge team spirit kept them in the top flight for many a season!! As for complacency and underestimating, cant see this happening. NA, if anything shows too much respect at times. The area we need to strenghten is the defence. As noted on many postings a CB and another fullback would certainly have us challenging at the top. Have faith, we will do very well this season.

Excellent interview. Shows that Nicola Cortesse really cares about the Club, Marcus's vision and ensuring that this vision is made reality. Agree this should be available to all saints supporters, everyone should listen to this and appreciate that NC will lead us back into the premiership very soon.

Why is it we have soooo many negative minded supporters??? We do not need to sell anyone. We have money in the bank. Key players have new long term contracts. We have purchased more players that will add to the squad and are undoubtedly in the market for more. So why are supporters always looking on the negative side??? RL is going nowhere. NA did the right thing resting him, look what happened last season when Pardew played him even thought he playing with an injury.

Renewed yesterday for my group, all 6 renewed. Looking forward to another promotion season!!! Works out £22.22 per match for adults which frankly in the scheme of things is pretty good value in my opinion. Think what it costs to go and see a gig and the band may only be on for just over a hour!! What was it, £70? to go and see Take That who were on for what 1 1/2 hours?? Think its pretty good value for Saints personally. COYR's

Many, many a game under floodlights at The Dell. Remember most of the matches mentioned above, Micky Channon's testamonial, Anderlecht, thrashing Man U 4-1 in the League Cup and Atkinson getting the sack, a certain MLT scored a couple that night! Newcastle hammering in the last 13 minutes and how about the macth against Villa, Bally was the manager and MLT smashed a wonderful freekick into the top corner @ the Milton Rd end in the last minute, wonderful. Seem to remember watching Chivers playing in one of his 1st visits abck to Dell after his transfer to spurs, think we lost that one though. Great atmosphere at the Dell!! Happy memories!!!

Agree with benjii and adriansfc, we have a decent squad now more than able of holding its own in the CCC. With 3 or 4 additions we will be in the top 2 at the end of the season. As said, we have the momentum, the winning mentality and a decent squad; get off to a good start and we'll be rolling towards the prem for the 12/13 season!! Can't see Cortesse and NA setting their sights any lower than 2nd!!

Think you'll find we had a pretty amazing run in 75/76 season, started with a 4-0 demolition of Sunderland @ The Dell in December and included our magnificent run in the cup. From memory it was a 18/19 match unbeaten run including the FA Cup matches of course!! But since the the start of this year we have won 19, drawn 3 lost 3, which is why we finished 2nd, 60 points from a possible 75!!

To all those who doubted him, and still doubt Cortese I hope you have changed your mind. We have the right Chairman, the right manager and we will have a chamiobship winning squad at teh start of next season!! Well done Nigel Adkins, you rightly deserved a huge pat on the back.
