  1. I have 4 tickets for Hull this Saturday. Cost me £102 including the ticket tax but happy to sell the 4 for £90. Anyone interested message me. Thanks!
  2. One point over looked by most is that if we had bought a striker that can score, last summer we would still have Ralph in charge and we would be mid table. Then Ralph would have gone after the season finished s he wanted to do.
  3. I sincerely hope this is true and the board do something about it sooner rather than later. My gut feeling is that its all on the Palace match, play badly and get thrashed and NJ has to go. But this is Saints and nothing is straight forward
  4. Its now 15:44 on Thursday afternoon and NJ is still in his job! What will it take before he is sacked? Will we need to be thrashed by both Palace and City, will that be enough? I cant believe NJ was not sacked after that disgraceful display last night. Everyone can see it apart from SR that is.
  5. Better than Davis and Gazzinger, but making a few too many mistakes. Drops and spills the ball way to easy for a top keeper. Slow off his line, hesitates for crosses and as yet, has not made an outstanding save. All his saves so far have been straight forward and what you expect from a keeper. Need Forster back quickly!
  6. I see the Bed wetters are back in earnest! Oh a bid come in! Oh we are going to sell our entire team! What a load of b*llocks! Why would we sell any player? We are in the Europa League, we need more players not less. When will people realise that the English press is hell bent on selling every player that is signed for Saints.
  7. Having had the misfortune to go to the last 2 away games I can confirm that we were total crap! Leicester was the worst, passionless, spineless performance I have witness since the debacle at Skatesville under Redcrapp. Too many players put in a half hearted display, many, too many, looked totally knackered, a few look disinterested. After such a wonderful season it is very sad to allow this to happen. If we had taken 9 points from the last 3 away games we would be 2 points behind ManUre. That is how near we are to breaking the top 4.
  8. The one point everyone seems to miss is that Morgan is under contract until the summer 2017. He extended his contract in Feb 2013 and the deal takes him to the summer of 2017. So we don't need to sell Morgan until the summer of 2016!
  9. You forgot those so called fans who only go and see Saints when they are either doing well or playing one of the "big" clubs.
  10. Villa, Win City Win Arsenal draw ManUre Win 10 points from 12 will do very nicely!
  11. what a bunch of drama queens, how dare they have a go at Lambert. He was clearly very emotional when talking about Saints and is still upset about what happened. I doubt we will ever know the true reasons, but rest assured NC is not blameless in all this. Rickie Lambert is a legend. He's gone move on. I have supported Saints since I first went to match in 1968. I seen many highs and many lows, travelled all over the country watching saints play and was there yesterday. Lambert is one of the few genuine football players and does not deserve the crap some are giving him on here. He gave us the best 5 years of his career. As for the DM, its not fit to wipe my ar*e; if they have twisted his comments that's not Lambert's fault.
  12. Well plenty of discussion on the way back yesterday, (especially on the M6 between J22 and 18!), and generally agree with most of what has been said, great 1st game and plenty to be optimistic about. However, last season when we had loads of possession we did not shot enough, yesterday we were shooting whenever the chance was there, Morgan, JWP, even Victor were firing them in - we had more shots on target than the home team! Pelle, well I would have to agree with some of the comments: 1st half he did not adapt well to the PL, very slow to move, wanted too much time which is simply not there in the PL. 2nd half he was much better, won more ball in the air and certainly upped his game. Needs a few more games before we judge him. Wanyama, magnificent performance, was man of the match, closely followed by JWP. JWP could really fulfil his potential this season - he really is a very bright prospect for Club and country. Tadic: wonderful prospect. Looks every bit a superb replacement for AL. Davis: worked tirelessly..... if only he could shot! Morgan: took around 20 minutes to get going, but is simply a class player - could have scored twice as well! Fonte looked exceptional and lead the team very well and by example. Clyne, superb! How is that Skate ahead of him for England is beyond me. Bertram: wonderful prospect and possibly better than Shaw defensively. Yoshida: Didn't have a bad game, probably the best I have seen him play - think he will be good cover. Forster: Looks huge in the goal! Couple of dodgy kicks, looks a good prospect but time will tell Isgrove: Looked very lively when he came on will be very interesting to see him develop this season. Great prospect Long: Thought he did well when he came on; quick, good movement and unlucky not to score. Koeman: excellent team selection, good tactics. I thought we did press Liverpool, perhaps not so high up the pitch as last season, but we certainly did not allow them time to settle. 1st half we seemed to be happy to contain, and then we changed tactics after they scored and took the game to them. Much quicker going forward than last season and the team seem to have been instructed to shot when possible. Good, quick passing and movement, a little different to last season. Overall I thought Koeman got it right and showed that we do have a plan B. He is right we do need more depth in the squad and a winger with real pace and another center half would certainly give us that depth.

  14. Anyone got their tickets yet? I ordered mine last Friday and nothing yet........
  15. Here's some more info but looking very good! http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/scott.saunders.2/1170115/southampton-set-to-sign-florin-gardos-as-dejan-lovren-replacement Interesting that we have now switched attention away from Rojo as well!
  16. 6th - above Spuds and European football for the following season. And don't forget we'll be the FA Cup winners as well!
  17. Here's some more info: http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/john.andrews/1152908/southampton-have-9-5m-offer-for-marcos-rojo-rejected-by-sporting-lisbon
  18. Pep Guardiola, now that would show real intent!
  19. Well I'm glad the Argie tw*t has gone. Clearly he had no intention of staying at Saints so we are best shot of the tw*t. Whilst we played fantastic possession football we failed too many times to convert that possession into wins. We lacked a plan b and a cutting edge. We now need the board to act quickly and appoint a quality Manager to build upon the excellent foundations. No player should be sold until a new a manager is in place. Two things for next season: Finish above the Spuds and see the Argie sacked by Christmas! Now that would make me smile! COYR
  20. Well I hope he's sacked by Christmas. Hope he fails magnificently! No time for the Argie Tw*t! Come on Saints an ambitious appointment please!
  21. Spot on! My thoughts exactly!
  22. Thanks Steve, excellent information! So we are soooo desperate, in need of cash we will have to off load our star players! Hmmmm, more like we have some cash to spend on strengthening the squad to push on next season!
  23. Amazing! Just had our best season, probably ever and so many so called fans are moaning. Unbelievable. I know let's all believe what the papers tell us, sorry what NC feeds to his cronies in the media; so we wont have any of players, no manager and will be in League one again soon! Remember January, Club in decline, KL going to sell the Club in a matter of weeks, no investment, MP leaving, Shaw and AL leaving, RL going to Hoof Ham, need I go on. And how much of that newspaper rubbish actually happened? Sweet f^&k all! What do we have so far, reported bids in the media that ManUre and 'Pool are after AL and Shaw. Nothing confirmed from Saints nor the Clubs involved. Sherwood sacked and guess what the media tell us MP on the way. When and if it happens that is the time to pass comment. As for renewing my season ticket, again for the 37th consecutive season, yes, of course I will, as any true Saints supporter will do!
