  1. So that's where I was going wrong then.
  2. Two points I'd pick you up on there; as someone else has said, buying tickets for a game you can't/won't attend doesn't make you a better fan, it's just using your noggin. The criteria for final tickets was known well in advance of the semi-final second leg. Also, who "makes" you play football on a Saturday; it's your choice surely?! I played football for years on a Saturday and accepted that I had no chance of getting a Wembley ticket in 2003; life's full of choices unfortunately!!
  3. At least if we're not allowed to wear colours in Club Wembley we can be in the wanabee Danny Dyer brigade....
  4. If you can get anyone else to go with you you'll save quite a bit; must be a few on here who are prepared to join your "group"?!
  5. Just checked and it's £61.60 for 4 tickets even without the Gold Card/Rail Card.
  6. It's with South West trains; doesn't include a travelcard to use for the tube, but we can buy these on the day for £6.30 each. A Gold Card is a yearly train season ticket; I use it for work to get to Whiteley every day. I think you can probably get the same discount with a "standard" railcard. Basically I bought 4 tickets for the price of 2 as a group discount.
  7. Not as far as I'm aware? A mate of mine has apparently got me a ticket in Club Wembley, he's said nothing about a free bar?!
  8. Just booked 4 tickets for the train, leave Central 6.55am, arrive Waterloo 9.08. Leave Waterloo 18.35, arrive Central 20.34. £15.40 each with a Gold Card; result!!
  9. I wouldn't call Exeter a "local derby"; Brighton and Swindon perhaps but Exeter is 3 hours away!
  10. Sums it up perfectly. By the way, Kisnorbo is a pr!ck too, the way he was stood over a Saints player and giving it large every time he didn't like a challenge; clearly fancies himself a a hard man, should maybe concentrate on being an average footballer first...
  11. I was lucky enough to be in the Matt le Tiss suite today, and had a great afternoon surrounded mainly by very quiet Leeds fans!! Excellent performance, and Leeds barely had a sniff. I think Beckford can't have touched the ball more than 10 times in the entire match, and he spent most of it diving around trying to con the ref. The ref was shocking and the Gradel yellow card summed it up; he must have seen him raise his hands to have booked him. so how come only yellow?! Rather strangely Rickiie Lambert got MOM in the Le Tiss suite; thought he had a very quiet game by his standards, my top 3 were Fonte, Puncheon and Jaidi in that order, with Morgan just behind. And who on earth voted for Otsemebor as MOM in the poll by the way?!
  12. Roy Esandoh (or similar)?
  13. Didn't you see "The Farmer's" post when Rupert left for the second time; he took it with him?!
  14. He was on the verge of signing for Bristol City a few years back, and GaryJohnson pulled the plug at the last minute due to his attitude..
  15. Having watched it a few times it does look very harsh; however playing devil's advocate Seaborne didn't seem to complain much.
  16. Alexei Cherednik?
  17. I think so; I mean he's not even reached 30 goals this season yet ffs.
  18. No, I think it's the comedian who was in Morris Minor and the Majors (Stutter Rap and all that)?!
  19. Is that what the deal is? I've managed to avoid reading anything to do with it on the basis that I couldn't care less, but my understanding was that she was Bridgey's ex at the time of said affair?
  20. Ex-girl; I still can't really understand what Bridgey's beef with Terry is all about tbh?
  21. I think he once said that he doesn't like whippets or chips with gravy and they've never forgiven him.
  22. Not so much a lisp, more of a Jonathan Ross means-to-say-r-but says-w-instead I'd say...
  23. That was one limp handshake from Pardew at the final whistle.
  24. She also cried at the first 3 Saints goals; we were in the Chapel so you wouldn't think it would be THAT loud! Maybe she's just preparing herself for life as a Saints fan....!!
