  1. He was the big centre-back? If so, yes he was shocking.
  2. For me at least, yes!!
  3. Just back from the match, best 90 minutes I've seen all season. Walsall didn't get a look in; we looked like scoring every time we attacked. Their free-kick was unstopable; saw it from behind the goal and it was a goal from the second it left his boot. Puncheon very good, excellent close control and does a lot of running. Fonte looks quality at the back and he and Jaidi are a great pairing; think Jaidi lost one header all afternoon. Took my 5 year old to her first game and she loved it, despite bursting into tears at the volume of the Saints fans when the players came out!! My nipper's first game was the 5-2 against Barnsley; shame I haven't got any more kids to take to future games!!
  4. If your avatar is a picture of you I can understand why they were cautious...
  5. Letting, or perhaps making, your kids become obese is tantamount to child abuse if you ask me.
  6. I never seem to get far past the early 900s myself.....
  7. Great post; I'm surprised that you weren't put off for life after the shocking 0-0 against Plymouth.
  8. That'll be a no then.
  9. Darn it, I got to the penultimate post and my intended "Steppin' Out" joke hadn't been used yet....
  10. Seabourne's looked assured when I've seen him, but maybe him and Fonte are a little lightweight as a pairing if they're playing against a bruiser like Holt yesterday. I'd probably alternate Jaidi and Seabourne depending upon the opposition.
  11. The answer's in there somewhere.
  12. Think Lallana's first effort that hit the post was set up by Otsemebor, the second goal was Puncheon.
  13. Got my dad to Sky+ it for me; when I get the chance I'll watch it until just before they scored their second.
  14. I feel proud about the way Saints played today; the only major downer is the unfairly lop-sided look to the scoreline, and what the record books will show.
  15. I was in Block 17 in the Chapel today and the atmosphere was great; never heard so many people singing in there as there were today. We were the better side for 75 minutes; so glad that we got to celebrate a goal as it was mayhem... No luck for the killer second; Perry got studs on it and it looked like Harding was letting it go as it was going wide until the ball hit the ground and span in. Gutted with the Barnard disollowed goal; we were celebrating for at least 20 seconds before we realised it hadn't been given. And also gutted that the programme I bought for a mate got ruined, as I left it under my swat and a cup of coffee got kicked over it when James made the save from Jaidi just before half-time!! Not looking forward to Monday morning in my office in Whiteley, but Saints did us proud; just a shame that the record books will say 4-1.
  16. Don't be too harsh on your wife, I'm sure it's not only her fault that she's just had a baby.
  17. I thank you.
  18. Shame about the vote rigging as I'd have been interested to see what the skates actually think of their prospects tomorrow...
  19. I've forgone 6 weeks in India with work and the trappings that go with it for the sole reason that I would have had to have flown out the day before the JPT final. We'd better bl@@dy get there now!!!
  20. WTF; lost it completely now!!!
  21. Picture seems very intermitent this half, probably too many people watching it now,(if that makes any difference)?!
  22. I've managed to get it on this one on Ustream.
  23. Smarties are disgusting these days so that would explain it. Even the orange ones.
  24. Me and a mate of mine try to use the phrase "the next goal's gonna be crucial" as often as we can in honour of Dave. You can change the word "goal" for whatever you want, it's great.
