"I'd do anything to get a game of football... What do you mean 'swallow?'"

I've never understood why people get so upset over someone on the internet. It's easy to pretend they aren't there, that they don't exist. Infractions on an internet forum don't mean anything, they don't make you a bad person and the person doesn't feel like they have the weight of the world on their shoulders when they get one. I'm betting that the majority who get infractions don't cry themselves to sleep over it. It's laughable that someone would think that they're a hard-hitting punishment and it's even more laughable that someone feels the need to carry on acting like a total tool until they get their own way. Everywhere else in life they are the same person with or without these little black dots next to their name, or whatever. They mean absolutely nothing. Nothing at all. A lot things are said to get a reaction, if you're biting at every possible opportunity you're just feeding the numpties. You could probably discard a number of pages of this thread just because of the sheer amount of bickering. At the end of the day this is all about a bloke who plays football. If we don't get this one then we move on to another, then another, then another. There's plenty of them out there. If someone comes to the thread to add valuable discussion or say that they know something then fair enough - not everyone has to be right 100% of the time. I'm not going to be drawn further into this, and yes, I understand the irony of getting involved in the first place, but I come to this site for discussion about football (and I choose to post whenever I feel I can contribute), not to see some people with thousands upon thousands of posts getting upset over some words on a screen. An internet forum is a place for discussion, I understand this, but when it turns from clear, reasonable talk into bickering over pointless, meaningless words from someone you don't know, it goes too far. If it gets to that point then just ignore them, don't feed the trolls or the keyboard warriors and they'll go away. For what it's worth, I only saw Ramirez at the Olympics but he was clearly a stand-out player for the Uruguayan side.

Eurosport - Eurobot: SOUTHAMPTON - More on Gaston Ramirez: it is understood a fee and payment plan has been negotiated for the 21-year-old winger, who has won nine caps for Uruguay and is reported to be commanding a club-record fee of £12 million. Former club Penarol, who own 30% of his registration, are also satisfied by the terms of the agreement. http://uk.yahoo.eurosport.com/football/transfers/chat.shtml?chatid=5aee9b2a49&fb_source=message

I got there around 3, got my shirt by 4. I was told the same thing but stuck around, nothing better to do! Was in the last 15 or so people allowed to queue up though.

The vendors won't be able to sell alcohol anywhere other than the concourse as it's against regulations, so people would end up clustering around them downstairs, probably making it more crowded.

Sat next to the bbc coverage today so waited for him after and got a pic with the great man. Deserves all the appreciation he gets.

His logic astounds me: "So I think now we have to deliver eight clean sheets. If we can deliver eight clean sheets we'll go up automatically." Not if you can't score in any of those games, Sam.

This punditry is so biased.

Oh, and our support was incredible. Aside from one cheesy and awful song west ham fans had nothing, all I could hear for 90 minutes was our lot Also, their pathetic bubble machine was hilarious.
-
I was also in with the West Ham fans. The majority around me seemed to think Sharp was a cheat and tried to get Taylor sent off. Most were saying that they couldn't believe we'd done so well and weren't a patch on them, incredibly arrogant to say the least. Overall I think we played well but lacked in the final third. I was dead in line with the penalty and it looked like the ref made a good call but being on the other side of the pitch didn't help so I'd like to see it again. Lallana was class, absolutely everywhere and my motm, Punch was also excellent when he came on. A lot of Hammers around me were baying for Davis' head when he beat Cole to a header, not sure what they saw but it was a 50/50 ball at the end of the day.

Saints 2 - 3 Millwall - Post Match Reaction
Giamlarrahan replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
I was in line with the third goal and he looked way offside. It seemed like the team weren't bothered apart from a 5 minute spell after we equalised. Guly was poor and kept bundling into everyone he tackled, Reeves looked good and had some nice touches, Harding and Richardson were beaten too easily and Lee looked lively and committed to the cause. -
Surely it's the jean jacket and jeans combo that should be avoided the most?
-
To the Le Tiss song: Lee, Lee, Tadnari Lee, he gets the ball and scores a goal, Tadanari Lee. Unoriginal, I know, but it sounded alright in my head (assuming he does score goals )
