  1. I wish the whole lot would just piss off. "Russ" and all his team. Sports Republic, Stephens - anyone in a leadership role, get out, now.
  2. Looks like the manager roundabout is going to start soon ... this guy not going down well ....... TBH I'd have him at Saints, and O'Neil and Potter and Moyes and Cooper and just about anyone else right now ...
  3. "I'm so proud of the players" - FUCK. OFF.
  4. Good point, looked about +12.35 to me ... Fking martin, fking sports republic, fking stephens, fk.
  5. SACK HIM NOW Caps and bold.
  6. And Chelsea signed him up for SEVEN years ...
  7. 100%. I mean the first half was the same shit we've seen all season, which he dared to defend. The guy needs to be real, had Brighton been on form they'd have been out of sight like fucking Bournemouth were against us. But the second half was much much better and he's spot on about VAR. I'm actually more pissed off about VAR than the tactics ... a unique feeling.
  8. Saints transfers have been utter utter utter shit. Really sick of the amount of money that's been wasted and CONTINUES to be wasted on players not good enough. But, this signing is the worst of the lot. I'm sure he was decent enough for Sunderland in the Championship, but why oh why did they spunk £10m or whatever is was on a player so badly crocked, when they knew he was crocked? Absolute fucking shambles of a club, who the hell is in charge of this crap? Get rid of the lot.
  9. Saints are utter shit but, we're still not that lot down the road 😂
  10. Jesus wept. That really is rubbish.
  11. This. The leadership of the club is appalling. The staff/player recruitment is appalling. The lack of action to remove the worst manager we've had is appalling. Fking wake up Saints!
  12. Obviously didn't like band aid either ...
  13. Both Championship level loans - will be great next season ...
  14. Really?? Christ, snap them up Saints. Brighton's recruitment has been much better than a lot of other teams.
  15. No thanks, they'll end up buying even more squad fillers who just fall into Martin's painfully slow football regime. I'd rather we shifted half the squad and got ready for the championship.
  16. You're right - they have spent, or at least allowed SOMEONE to spend so criminally badly it's unreal. Our recruitment was always hit and miss, but mostly more hit, apart from a couple, it's been so bad. That sum of money is frightening, given what we could've done with it. I mean it doesn't even need to be a lot, who is that player at Villa for instance they got from Middlesbrough for not much? Morgan Rogers? Although he's probably getting better service than he would here ...
  17. Ramsdale man of the match for me today - which is great to say after thinking he's had a shaky start. Very well deserved clean sheet, great saves, commanding, no nonsense. Armstrong was terrible when out on the right, but I don't think he had much support and then was better with the changes made and a nicely taken goal, well done that man. Dibling was direct and brilliant when he came on but generally our best chances today came from being much quicker moving the ball forward - shock! A win is a win and enjoyable - but more of this moving the ball forwards quickly please.
  18. True I'd forgotten about him. He's looking nervy and certainly not the player he should be - but he's one I was delighted signed, maybe he'll settle? Hopefully
  19. Agreed on fitness - I said this a couple of times too, it's really noticeable in this league, they do not look a fit bunch of players compared to other teams and nothing like the fitness demanded by Strachan, Pochetino and Hassenhuttl as you say.
  20. The worrying thing about the club is who sanctioned these signings? Ugochukwu was utter crap. Slow, ponderous, can't turn, doesn't bust a gut. Bereton-Diaz was like some random fan was given a shirt to come on and watch play pass him by. Cornet was dreadful, he can run, but that's it - although I think I can potentially see someone good, maybe ... Fraser was off the boil again. Really glad he wanted to come and can't fault his effort, but he's not in the game right now. I'm not even bothering to mention the bizarre Woods and Edwards signings ... These were all signed for this season and to counter balance Archer has something about him, so does Fernandes, but neither shone tonight. Summer recruitment looking poor.
  21. 7pm sunday? That's a joke right?? Edit: No, I now realise it's not. All those fans on rail replacement buses or the 1 train per hour going through Portsmouth and Guildford to Waterloo ... fk sake.
  22. What a load of fking gash that statement is ... football is beyond ruined. Serene woodland and state of the art DJ booth?? Fk me, how about playing good football and winning? Knightwood? Bloody hell! What's wrong with the Lee Todd Lounge? (seriously, ANY player other than a fking tree!!) Expertly crafted cocktails. I want expert saves, expert tackles, expert fking goals and management. ARGH!
  23. My son tells me that the Bundesliga is the best league in the world. He's 10 and I think he might be right 😂
  24. I don't know who he is, but he's right. Someone else mentioned Koeman - that was the best era in the Premier League for us since Strachan's ridiculously fit and in shape squad running their bollocks off every week. Hassenhuttl reminded me of Dave Jones, not in style, but just I think the club could've carried on plodding on, not break ground but surviving. Anyway, Koeman - I long for those days of counter attacking but also the ability to mix up play with some decent passing. Saints do have some pacy players who can break ad do this. Get the squad fit (as I don't think they are as fit as they could be, certainly nothing like Strachan's team), press when it allows, let the opposition have the fkn ball for once, break or at least pass it fkn forwards at pace and allow the fast guys that are at the club to RUN. That would be novel. Oh and get Bella-Kotchap back into the squad. If he doesn't work out, fine, but there is potentially a huge defensive talent there doing nothing. I don't know, I'm not a football expert, it's not my job but that's what I'd like to see anyway. If we're going to go down, can we at least go down having watched something more extertaining and more likely see us scoring? That's all I ask.
  25. I can see it now; "I thought the boys were magnificent in keeping it down to 7, could have been a lot worse. Very happy with Harwood-Bellis in the 9 role as he's our top scorer, he was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet tonight though and I wanted Onuachu at full back to add some height, he was unlucky scoring 4 own goals. I feel happy we're learning"
