  1. Very much a 2nd gear performance, but so long as we win I don't care. If the team were fully on form I think they'd be 5 or 6 nil up!?
  2. Sunderland are woeful, which of course means Saints will gift them some goals ... need to keep scoring. 8-0 please.
  3. Happy avoiding LinkedIn day
  4. I am waiting for some "ultra kids" to try to start copying the Millwall monk chant ... wouldn't surprise me sadly
  5. Don't care what he did or didn't do after the match, I want him to concentrate on getting the team firing again - if the answer is Flynn Downes, then put him on the pitch in a wheelchair, couldn't do any worse than the static mob on Saturday.
  6. Easy mistake, he was the one glued to the edge of the pitch who had grown roots and looked like a ball boy.
  7. Will be a great send off for us to give the big man who has done so much for premiership football
  8. Great piece of journalism and interesting to read thank you for sharing. He does seem like a good man.
  9. That's not funny, they are boys. Do that to my son and I'd smash you. What team is this?
  10. My main takeaway from this thread is that the 2032 olympics will be at an unwatchable time of day 🙄
  11. Exactly. Do you fancy opposite sex, same sex, both. 3 ... LGB club. This whole pigeon-holing American shit has got to stop. I don't care who or what, but the fucking letters wind me up no end. LGB, that's all that's needed. Rant over.
  12. 2? S? WTF are they? God when I was younger the "LGB" abbreviation was so much easier to say/type ... FFS
  13. And if the club does NOT get promoted and Juventus want to buy him, then that money will be very useful next season to try again ...
  14. Loved watching this, thanks! Side note, but I wish we could see these in a better video quality, shows how spoilt we are Hope anyone turning up has a good chat, hope the business does well Jazzfunk and a reminder to some that we don't have to agree with everyone, all the time, on everything, life would be boring. Enjoy the vid, chat about about better football times!
  15. "Semmens concluded: "Where it went wrong for Nathan was that he said he was going to do this, and the players bought in, but he just did not get the results." Fuck me! Pay me a Premier League Manager salary for 3 months, I'll promise you the world, I'll get the players bought in as I'm good at selling workplace methodologies. But I won't get the results either. I'll be happy with 3 months salary and a pay off though.
  16. I don't remember being hugely impressed, he was better than what we had, which was not hard that season, but 9 in 38 is hardly setting the world alight. £5m player at best. Football carries on being stupid though at premier league level.
  17. 100% this. Well summed up. The impact of that change was noticeable and negative.
  18. Absolutely agree with this. The side is LIKEABLE again and that goes a long way, not just likeable as they're winning, but likeable in attitude, outlook, effort and how they get stuck in. Last season's woe is me, mincing around, not getting stuck in, no effort, no desire, entitled attitude was horrendous, in fact, not just last season, but probably 2 - 4. It's such a huge contrast to last season it's unreal and now I am more than happy to spend money on watching in person again. Love it!
  19. Agreed. I think the competition with Bree has helped. Bree WAS the better option defensively, but now it's a tighter unit as a whole and that includes an improved Manning. Fair play to him.
  20. Benson's agent earning his money!
  21. You miserable git 🤣 I've been with my son in the family corner for many matches this season, have enjoyed it a lot actually, a very different and pleasant experience being sober and away from the other end of the ground. I actually took one of my son's friends to a match too and what I noticed is that they both like the fan zone, they both liked the band, they love the goal music and many other things I would've classified as 'noddy' in years gone by. Granted that's a sample of 2x 9 year olds, BUT, that is the future customer base. Personally, I actually like all the street stalls behind the Kingsland too, much better at that side of the ground now. I'm all for a better home end for those that want to go there and the safe standing will be good too. My only question is why can't the away fans be moved to blocks 1-4 in that corner? Little change required for policing/coaches, family corner is still the opposite side as well, less changes required and the Northam is still next to the away fans for the melts wanting to do cut throat gestures and then run away after the match ends.
  22. I've always liked Wednesday as well, great club, decent fans. Was good again today, St Marys feels very very different again and rightly so, great atmosphere.
  23. Full of shit
  24. Way too harsh and completely unnecessary, he's been a completely different player this season and this happens to many goalies once.
