Yeah Larin suffered from a few things I think today; 1. He does hold up play brilliantly, but a lot of the time he relies on being able to knock the ball 1, 2 or 3 metres at most to a nearby Saints player. We were defending more, so no one close enough to sweep up the little taps from his hold up, hence 'Boro picked them up 2. Their centre back, Fry, was actually very good at not letting Larin get away with pushing him around so much - I liked him 3. Larin went down a fair amount to start with, the ref was not having any of it, rightly so

Think the keeper had that corner covered anyway so had it been on target I think it would've been saved, THB's header was the best chance.

The press conferences have always been a pointless circus anyway. We've watched the match, why we need constant questions and over-analysis is beyond me, same applies to Match of the Day too and constantly drawing bloody triangles on the screen to make a point. Just OTT. Rather than walk out, would prefer the Strachan approach talking about out of date yoghurts or something similar.

TBF the interviewer was asking stupid questions about Leeds and "spying", both players have just bust a gut playing and really couldn't give a fuck about the silly question, that was apparent.

That's how I saw it - do not concede a goal as a game plan which we got away with, just, but then unlucky not to score at the end though. Not much more to say, a bit meh, uncharacteristically bad passing from us too. I still think this should've been the play off final pairing too ...

Agree with this. Only reason I want promotion right now is money and I'd like to see many of the players we have, next season. Other than that, I'd be happy to win promotion but say "no thanks" and stay in the Championship (with the same players).

Jander's legs seem like Inspector Gadget when he makes some of those tackles, you can see the leg grow, win the ball and retract again. One of the best at winning the ball in that way I've seen, without fouling. He's got a huge future.
