  1. Indeed. Let's face it, probably the only reason this odd little story has come up is to try to liven up their fanbase for tomorrow, fuck knows, it's all a bit weird either way.
  2. What an absolute penis. 😂
  3. I want to hear this now on Saturday, brilliant!
  4. Agree with this. Only reason I want promotion right now is money and I'd like to see many of the players we have, next season. Other than that, I'd be happy to win promotion but say "no thanks" and stay in the Championship (with the same players).
  5. This. Arsenal will win the Champions League now, pretty sure of that, coming back to form at the right time.
  6. People that have never kicked a ball in a match before spouting shit on the internet. It gets worse every year. Not helped by the ridiculous over-analysis of MoTD, Sky etc. I still watch MoTD, but just the highlights, fast forward the "analysis", ridiculous bollocks.
  7. Agreed, he gets slyly kicked to shit every match, look back for the pic where you can see his socks have blood on them around the ankles.
  8. What hideous show is that? Presented like some NFL bollocks, bloody awful
  9. I still think the camp wasn't happy, couple of 1st team players left after mid-Jan, plus we got Bree, Peretz and Larin in, HUGE difference in quality. I also think Peretz might be pretty vocal and influential in the dressing room and the pitch. So I see it as: 1. Still 2. Players want to play for new manager 3. Current cracks in squad getting on start to appear again 4. Cracks moved on, quality brought in
  10. £90, rip off corner shops.
  11. Fkn sourdough. Only bread I'll entertain is Warburton's white, thick toastie bread. Occasionally a lump of white tiger bread. I don't eat masses of bread but it has to be white, with cold butter. Butter not marg or other crap, butter.
  12. Is he stuck in a glass box? Let him loose, burn off that energy on the bouncing twerps.
  13. I love how someone needed to tell you that, what is wrong with people??
  14. Cardiff will be lucky to sign him, a gem of a goalie, they should push hard now before competition hots up.
  15. Flip the points round, Chelsea shouldn't be above Arsenal in the table. I'd go 8 points win, 6 points semi etc etc and descend.
  16. Jander's legs seem like Inspector Gadget when he makes some of those tackles, you can see the leg grow, win the ball and retract again. One of the best at winning the ball in that way I've seen, without fouling. He's got a huge future.
  17. True, not very "Tonda" of me thinking so far ahead, win against Preston next
  18. We do have a significant advantage over other teams of the players knowing the ground, the dressing room, the walk, the noise and the occasion.
  19. With Flynn Downes on the pitch in the last two matches, neither of those long range shots (from Man City or Ipswich tonight) happen, in my opinion. Flynn has been excellent at closing down those sort of spaces. Thoughts?
  20. Wood, would probably be my "most improved player". For more than a few matches now, he's been WAY above the level he was playing at before and mentally a completely different character to the one in the team in 2025. His performance on Saturday against that calibre of attacking player was incredible really.
  21. I couldn't even pick a "most improved", let alone a player of the season, where do you start?
  22. Good point ... I was focusing on the one before ... BBD, Cornet, and then mixing in Damian Downs and loaning out Bree. It's all a horrible blur 😂
  23. I think I'd agree that whatever league we're in next season, we need some stability now and this group now seems like the winning formula all round. How quickly things change in football ... (Caveat: As long as whoever did the January transfer window can do this coming summer and not the person who did last summer's transfer window ... )
  24. This is really noticeable for me. My lad, 11 has absolutely loved it this year as we all have; his face at Wembley was a picture and great to see him 'singing' along with us all too. Before Christmas he was not overly fussed about us renewing season tickets, on the way home on Saturday he asked "can we have season tickets again next year?" These types of matches, these type of performances, players and management busting a gut to win everything and build proper relationships with fans is what we've missed for years and is the key to getting the younger generation loving the club. Good times.
