  1. Exactly that, in bold. It was completely over the top - the whole on the pitch thing (can't remember which match that was now) and so on, OTT. The framing was off.
  2. Agree Manny. Today was appalling, again. We need a proper manager (manager not "coach") who is actually in charge.
  3. Baffling that you can't sack a player for under performing.
  4. Watch Billy Sharp come on and get 4 goals ...
  5. Sorry for your loss, sounds like a true Saint!
  6. Same, I was actually nervous, was weird, but I really enjoyed that.
  7. 100% this. I said this already, but end of season contract, get him signed up. In fact, we aren't getting promoted, 18 month contract, do it.
  8. "1.The player version is slim fit, the fan version is loose, if you are strongeror have abigger belly" 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
  9. Agreed. 2 people have said similar to that (non Saints fans) this week. My annoyance is that it is also a reminder that I'm 50 this year. FFS.
  10. Agree with Neville, someone should've whacked him.
  11. Seriously dull ... awful.
  12. I wouldn't keep either of them. This squad has far too much filler still and a lot of absolute helmets who need moving on.
  13. Agree. I haven't seen anything special and neither have our Excel schoolboy managers.
  14. Agreed, I severely doubt we'll hear about him ever again now.
  15. Callum Wilson is still better than what we have up front (bar Armstong on a good day). Contract until the end of the season to replace his West Ham one (so if he's paid off in full by West Ham, he shouldn't want stupid wages anyway). I'd be on board with that.
  16. I don't know him, but I would agree with this. I think he's an adequate back up and you can see / tell he cares - one of a few.
  17. Having spent over 20 years in Product Management, this quote winds me up something chronic every time it appears. I would love to sit down with this guy and argue this point. If it works, why are you breaking it? What problem are you trying to solve? How are you making someone's life better and crucially, how are you maximising revenue? But what winds me up even more is HOW THE FK DOES THIS APPLY TO FOOTBALL? You have one objective, win, get 3 points. If you don't win, you look at why, how can you solve the problem of not winning? In our case it's glaring fking obvious ... buy a defence, get a goalie, don't play 5 at the back at home, have a midfield etc etc. There is always a problem to solve. I want to score more, I want to concede fewer goals, I want to get 3 points, I want more paying customers to turn up. Don't break anything, solve the problems. ARGH! Ted talk over.
  18. Think this is a good idea - the no extra spending thing is good. Not that I want to spend £7.50 on a sticky toffee pudding anyway ...
  19. Bored as hell, most people around me groaning and eventually completely disinterested in the game and looking at crap on their phones instead. Big groan when the Scienza sub was announced. I don't have much to say, it was so very dull. Still, a clean sheet ....
  20. Nah I don't agree. Who on earth [that would come to Saints] would have more points than Eckert?? I expect a couple of strong loan signings in Jan.
  21. This. Those who like the "unique way the BBC is funded" are dinosaurs.
  22. Well he's used to playing with a terrible defence in front of him - half these shots he shouldn't have had to save 😂
  23. This is true, but as I said on the match thread, you could see after the break that West Brom were teaming up on both Scienza and Fellows. As soon as one of them got the ball, there were several West Brom players closing them down. I think last night the first subs were too early, however if you're going to take Scienza off (who was being swarmed and looked like he was flagging, unsurprisingly after the shifts he has put in), then JUST take Scienza off, not 2 key players at once. I feel with hindsight that a one for one swap would've been better, bringing on Robinson on his own to get used to that front line with how Azaz, Armstrong and Fellows work together - I think Robinson would benefit from that and being the only sub in a like for like swap. So yes, taking off Fellows and Scienza together is / was a mistake. Side note: Scienza for Robinson, yes. Scienza for Fraser of Aribo, no. In Jan we really could do with a couple of Brooks type loan signings.
