As usual, fans the most impacted, from all clubs.

Best response as I've said before (and have done) is just to turn around and walk away while they continue to talk bollocks. Fans of Man Utd, Liverpool, Spurs, in fact a lot of teams who a) never go to a match and b) have never kicked a ball.

I see the BBC and so on are bleating on about weather during the World Cup ... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cy928q8engzo Seems like no one now remembers Mexico '96, Italia '90 and USA '94 ... all notoriously hot?? Time to start giving the media a wide swerve again.

Yeah. 3 point deduction could put us in 20th in the Premier League again, rather than in 20th.

You need to wait until everyone you want to buy for is eligible.

Meh, it's "AI" innit, never wrong, right? 😂

Got to love Gemini .. The article "Will’s placement year is key to success" does not have a visible publication date displayed on the page itself. However, based on the internal content and current events mentioned in the text, it was written in late 2024 (likely September or October 2024). This is indicated by two specific details: The article mentions football player Jayden Meghoma's move to Brentford on "deadline day for about £10 million," which occurred on August 30, 2024. The student, Will Salt, is described as being in his "third year" and currently balancing his studies with a role at Aston Villa, which corresponds to the 2024/25 academic year.

Am I the only one who sees the name "Will" and the term "intern" and thinks of this guy from 2012 / 2026? Er, yeah, right, er, crap.

That was just Will "liking" this (https://www.linkedin.com/posts/malicolloredo_after-five-rewarding-years-my-time-to-move-activity-7454563540025176065-fnsb/) post by Mali Colloredo

You could see the two of them had sorted it out on the pitch / in the tunnel. Heat of the moment stuff and all that.

If this is the extent of being "covert" whoever this is gets, then you would argue he's not experienced at it and I'm sure a career in covert operations is not going to suit him ...

Quite happy to cancel my Sky Sports subscription whenever ... because I can be petty too 😂

Agreed. I think Nathan Wood had a similar experience the other way round - 'Boro lad, got to the first team with them, then loaned out a few times and eventually sold to Swansea. Thought both players put in massive shifts for their current employers over their home teams. -
I think with Azaz, it seemed that Middlesbrough knew just how to keep him quiet. I think he probably is also someone who doesn't react well to booing, some people don't - I'm reading Neil Warnock's management book right now and he talks about a couple of players like that, great read btw. But regardless, I think they knew how to keep him quieter.

Dare I say it, Adam Armstrong is exactly the sort of player they were lacking, with an instinctive eye for goal. Thankfully Rob Edwards took him to Wolves instead ... -
Morning after, normally more balanced in my opinions, but what a pair of boring helmets still stands.
-
I did wonder if they were hoping for penalties or just dead on their feet - both teams were flagging like fuck though, ridiculous efforts all round.

Plus both fans can agree the ref was shit -
Well played Tonda
-
Absolutely - did his job well tonight!

That's fair enough. Same happened with Mousinho right? "We don't have to get on" or whatever he said, spot on.

I still like Fry a lot as a centre back, properly old school but good with it.
