This is so true. I remember at school playing inter house football one year, I was left back for my house team and we came up against another house who on the right wing had a player in the Saints academy (not sure it was called that in 1998-2000 but whatever), he had speed and control and I was left looking like a statue every time. Remember being shouted at by our housemaster and thinking "you deal with him you old cunt" 🤣

I'm not so sure, I don't know if it was my imagination, but sitting there watching on Saturday I saw more effort than before - I actually think they've stepped up a gear. I'm not saying that's to do with the manager, but maybe there was a lack of effort under Still? That's how I observed it anyway. Put it another way, goals aside, I was less bored in that match than the previous ones 😂

He does to be fair. I think he'll be a great asset to the club in time, but I don't want him as manager, he needs to be number 2 to someone experienced.

Not really sure what to say. A win is a win. Bazunu should NEVER be in the first 11 ever again - bloody awful goalkeeper, we won in spite of him. Something to build on in terms of winning confidence, but that was so bad.
