  1. Yes, but let's keep it cheap!! Existing season ticket holders £200 or £250 on the halfway line etc. New season tickets £250 and £300. That'd do and I'm certain many will buy, especially if a few player purchases happen.
  2. Would love Matt to follow in the footsteps of Ted Bates. Really did think Ted would not be followed, but it is entirely possible ... nice one Matt!!
  3. Possibly not tits up. I would have thought they were just "moving out" as they were allowed to stay there - probably time has come to move on because they've either been asked to pay rent, or just simply asked to find new premises.
  4. How negotiable ... text me
  5. Still for sale if anyone interested?
  6. It's all very well and good people saying "but I make expenses claims at work". Do you claim cleaning? Do you claim heating? Do you claim a second home? (Although arguably, a second home could actually work out cheaper than weeks and weeks of hotel bills, which is why some large companies rent out flats for people to use). The amounts may be small, but take for example the £6000 for Brown's cleaning, that amount is the amount that 1 person could have paid in tax for a whole year, which understandably would make most people feel sick that their hard earned money has been used to clean Brown's house (if you want to view it like that). It is an abuse. Expenses are supposed to be necessary; petrol, train, subsistence, hotel, pens, paper, phone, clothing (if you need it for work) etc.
  7. Damn. So the $500,000,000 Ugandan dollars I've been promised for releasing my bank details in return of investment in SFC is looking unlikely?
  8. At the present stage, I couldn't give a stuff if it was Idi Amin heading up a consortium if it meant we had a football club next season! Some people need to get real. No "Johnny Big Bucks" is going to buy the club. If Mark Fry accepts the best bid on the table, then so should the fans if it means we have a team to watch next season, simple as that. As usual, fans meddling in something they really have no control over.
  9. Sky Sports HD is not yet available on VM. But you do get BBC1 HD plus LOTS of VoD (video on demand) content (various movies, various TV shows). You just need a V+ box - which is better than Sky+ as it has 3 tuners (just one reason). This is a good summary - http://www.digital-scout.co.uk/virgin-media/virgin-media-v-plus-box/ (although installation of V+ is currently £49)
  10. It's actually comparable to getting the same through Sky. Neither service is cheap.
  11. http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/dtv/skysports.html
  12. Jesus, either people don't read the website properly, or I need to go speak to the TV Product guys to let them know it's not immediately obvious
  13. Click the "Want More?" tab to see the extra premiums you can get. V+ should be on that tab as well.
  14. Of course you can get all the Sky premiums on Virgin Media. They are just that, premium channels so you pay extra as you would on Sky. Premium channels that aren't included in the M, L or XL package include: Sky Sports 1-3 Sky Movies Disney Adult channels Zee/Asian premiums Go and look at the new Virgin Media homepage - check out VStuff which is awesome which you get as a VM customer. Just phone Customer Services and ask what you can get and how much - negotiate a deal/bundle.
  15. Okay … I would like to sell my new Nissan 350z, due to a massive change in circumstances (i.e. working around the country a bit more and having a girlfriend who lives 100 miles away in Birmingham) and I would like to get something more economical - a Golf Diesel will do! Anyway … I picked up a brand new 350z (my 3rd one, they are awesome cars!) in January and am now looking to sell it already. Details: Midnight Blue 350z 58-plate (but 2009 registered) 313 BHP (i.e. the latest engine and model) GT Pack (250 watt Bose sound system, with 6 disk CD changer, cruise control, heated seats all the usual good stuff) 18 inch Rays alloys 350z floor and boot mats 10 months road tax Almost 3 years warranty 2,700 miles on clock Black leather seats Air con Stability control Integrated Bluetooth phone system (steering wheel controls) £21,500 It's a £31k car, and in the current climate you're able to pick one up new from a dealer for about £24.5k (as I did), so I think the price is fair. Please reply on the thread if you're interested - if you don't have PM, I'll get my number/e-mail address to you via the admins (if they don't mind - Steve/Baj??) Thanks.
  16. Drove up to my gf's house in Birmingham on Thursday evening after work, took 5 hours, stayed there until lunch today, drove to my parent's which took 4.5 hours, family "do" tomorrow ... work on Tuesday, hopeful new job news - so all good! :-)
  17. No, no, no, no and none. Won't be changing either.
  18. Wow, massive respect!! More and more things I read are making me smile - the spirit of Southampton really has been awoken.
  19. Wow, really, 15? That's incredible!! Fingers crossed ...
  20. Exactly the response.
  21. If you have guests, yes, but my lounging trousers of choice are always jogging bottoms, long shorts, or even boxers (depending on circumstances).
  22. Linen trousers are great, I have several pairs with various very lightweight shirts to go with them. It's almost time to get them hung back up in the wardrobe and the jumpers folded away!
  23. I was going to order myself a couple for the gym (and get a free ticket, bonus!!), but they only have XL upwards online. Shame - guess that means normal sizes are sold out?
  24. Good God no. There's a reason you split up, I couldn't imagine anything worse than "going back" B*llocks to that, the future is too good to go back and have what you had before. What a hideous thought! Onwards and upwards, you can only get better ;-)
  25. No. As I've said before, "climate change" is an excuse for humans to be selfish and preserve their future on the Earth. Why should they? Who cares? In 1000 years, hopefully humans will be wiped out and another, new, species shall rule the Earth. The Earth doesn't excusively belong to the human species ... so, who cares? I don't. Don't give a toss if humans are wiped out by an overly warm, or overly cold planet that doesn't actually belong to us. And don't get me started on all thse bloody bandwagon jumping celebrities, bunch of c*nts.
