Agree with all this. I can't understand why Yoshi ,in particular, isn't being selected.

Totally agree with Lord Duckhunter's post. But for the penalty save and some other good saves we would have won that game. I couldn't believe it when I heard booing at the final whistle.

We all know how awful the p.a. System is at St Mary's. Does anyone know if it has been sorted for the new season?

Is it my imagination or is the P.A. system worse than ever? It has always been pretty poor but on saturday in the Chapel end I couldn't make out one word. Surely this is something the club should rectify. If there was ever an emergency situation in the ground and announcements were made noone would be able to understand them.

I accept that £340 was a very good deal. My main complaint is being reclassified from Senior to Adult. It is this change that has brought about most of the massive increase. I feel that renewing seniors should be allowed to keep that status.

As seniors in the chapel my wife and I paid a total of £340 this year. With the removal of the concession rate we will pay £760 next season , an increase of over 100%! How do I complain to the club?

Wouldn't it be nice if fans could stay off the pitch on Saturday, at least until the players have been able to do a lap of honour? I know everyone wants to acclaim their heroes but if there's a pitch invasion following the final whistle then a great day of celebration could just fizzle out. Is it too much to hope that we can applaud the team as they do a stroll around the stadium without being submerged under scores of overenthusiastic fans. I can't help thinking the team would prefer it that way.

I think everyone agrees that the team's performance was very disappointing but what worries me more was the manager's delay in making any changes until eight minutes before the end. Surely he should have tried Connolly,Doble or Gobern after an hour when it was pretty clear to everyone that the eleven on the pitch weren't getting anywhere.We had nothing to lose. First substitution with eight minutes remaining? I begin to wonder about Adkins.

I have a small Swiss flag which I shall be taking to Wembley. So not only will this be honouring Markus but it's red and white too!

Well said! Having followed Saints for twenty five years I am as depressed as everyone else about our predicament. But eventually things will improve just as they have for my 'other' club Exeter City who nearly went bust a few years ago but are now pressing for promotion to League One. In it's darkest hour the club was taken over by a Supporters Trust and thanks to fantastic fan support have dragged themselves out of the Conference and are doing well. It can be done and I've no doubt that Saints will turn the corner eventually, we just have to be patient and , as LeGod says, we WILL come again.

Washsaint, you are a star! At last someone is prepared to post something positive amongst all the negative rubbish which appears here day after day. If only there were a few more like you but most sensible posters have been driven away from this forum by the whingers. Yes the club is in dire straits but negativity on this forum only breeds negativity on the pitch. For God's sake get behind the team everyone.
