Would still take him all day long over Redmond, redmond has to be one of the most frustrating players ever in my opinion. Hardly ever makes the right decisions

im a big fan of gabbiadini and think he is basically suffering from lack of game time more then him being not good enough.. think there is a super player in there..my italian friend who is a napoli fan said he is best playing on the right and in his appearence yesterday looked very good when getting down that side. hes got all the right attributes makes inteligent runs is a instinctive finisher and you also tell he has a cracking long range shot on him.. i can understand hughes going with the likes of austin and long over him as players he can trust whilst we are in the relegation battle, but next season would love to see gabbiadini becoming a regular starter.

I can see us finishing on 36 points and having to hope other results go our way

Don't think this is the time to be getting on players backs. The likes of boufal lemina and gabbi seem to be getting major stick when tbh they have been no worse then the rest of the squad on their day they are definitely capable. Could be that boefal was getting a strop about being in and out of the side all season can also see why gabbiadini could be frustrated. Left on the bench most of the time then given 20 mins max to make an impact! When he has started he's always made good movenment and has good finishing when getting the right service

why? wouldnt it just devalue the premier league?, best players would all want to play in the super league and we would still get our players poached

i thought this formation might suit pre game, problem is we need to get the wingbacks forward to provide the width then should be plenty of options

Never thought I'd be saying this but long is probably our most important player since Hughes has been in charge, once he went off we had zero pace up top. Not sure why hughes brought on Davies instead of a more pacy option like Sims or Redmond earlier either. If the pan was to bring Austin on you need some pace around him

I would be totally for cortese coming back. i think him going was the start of the wheels coming off, but the momentum built from his time in charge coupled with koeman doing amazing in the transfer market replacing the outgoings kept us ticking over nicely. i really find it hard to believe that nicola would have bent over everytime and allowed us to become a liverpool feeder club

Can't blame the boys for effort thought tadic was excellent and also long and hojbjerg put in real commitment and effort.hopefully we can keep up the performances of the last games and start to get some results

Lemina for me.. he has made a couple of shaky mistake of late but on his day looks a real class midfielder

Don't think tadic has been one of our worse culprits of late, at least he looks capable of holding onto the ball in tight spots sometimes turning his man three or four times, but it's more comfortable on the ball then most of our team look who just either run into trouble or take the sideways pass. He did also combine well with long to put him in a dangerous position for one of our rare highlights of the game..

completely cant stand krueger. all he seems to do is talk zero content nonsense

his goal against newcastle was pretty far from put on a plate for him, the guy also has a hammer of a left foot .. if this formation is 3421 he could of also been used as the right sighded attacker allowing him to cut onto his left foot. probably wont be any worse then tadic ?

thought jeremy pied looked good today. his crossing is better then cedrics and he looks an able deputy. its kind of a shame that gabbiadini is getting frozen out of the team think he is one of our best players, dont really want him to be disgruntled and move away. austin has taking his chance well probably suits the way we are playing better and dserves to keep his place, but couldnt gabbi fit in somewhere? he used to play on the right of attack at napoli and could maybe even play the ten role better then tadic.. we know he has a good long shot on him

i think we would be better off moving to a 352. get rid of the non creating tadic and redmond and gives us more in the middle forster yoshida hoedt van dijk cedric lemina romeau bertrand boufal gabbiadini . austin/long

Really do not have a clue when it comes to attacking. best it ever gets is tadic trying to put a flick down the flank so cedric can try to get a cross in. no attempts do do anything through the middle.. bertrand never seemed to overlap or combine with boufal, gabbiadini totally starved of service again..

If pellegrino takes this stance he's inviting pressure on himself. Every time we fail to score and boufal is stuck on the bench the fans faith in mp is going to drain away.

still think gaston was also a talent we didnt make the best of.. more understandable i guess when we had lambert rodriguez and lallana all in fine form... hope pelegrino wakes up now and makes boufal a first team player

pretty shocking the ammount of people wanting les reed gone, hasnt he done a great job leading us into europe twice and 4 consecutive top ten finishes?. also the recruitment compared to most other teams has been pretty great with mane van dijk etc..Lastly he is the football man at our club would you really want his successor being chosen by the likes of krueger or the gao family ?
