  1. Just being honest not trying to slag of Ralph, but freezing out Cedric gabbi and possibly bertrand is weakening the team in the short term. It's all good giving youngsters a chance if they are good enough but valery looks completely out of his depth to me nowhere near the level the likes of shaw and chambers were at when they started playing full back. I have no problem with obafemi on the other hand. If we are gonna go for pace might as well use him as long is pretty much guaranteed not to score. Still winds me up gabbi not getting game time over him and Austin even if he's not in the plans and is going to be sold I don't agree with this decision
  2. Gotta say whilst I like Ralph as much as the next man his team selections and subs were dodgy to say the least We are ending up with way too many headless chickens on the pitch with zero intelligence. Obvious choices to change the game would have been to get ings and Armstrong on.. but instead we get another two headless chickens on with valery and long. Elyounoussi is far far worse then boufal..and doesn't make any successfull dribbles How long gets anywhere near the pitch is a joke. Redmond looks back to his old self last two games. Long and elyounoussi shouldn't even be looked at as attacking options if you ask me.. how these two get on the pitch before ings gabbi and Armstrong is borderline retarded bar resting players
  3. Totally get what your saying but it's not like our season rests on getting something out of city either, we should have enough to avoid relegation under ralph. Hatred for Liverpool comes from the way they took from us over and over again and tapping up vvd who the acts like a complete a-hole to get his own way. Seing Them get rewarded for this by winning titles is not something I wanna see
  4. It's probably really bad to think this but part of me wants City to get the three points today.. really don't want the scousers winning the league with vvd etc..
  5. This.. pretty much what I was saying in the summer. It's money we could have used to buy another attacking flair player or centre back- and how much are we missing that now whilst gunn sits on the bench ?
  6. For me Armstrong was our best player.. his use of the ball was always clever and didn't lose it very often especially compared to others,, sprayed a couple of nice balls out wide from deep, made a great tackle on the full back which gave Redmond a strike on goal. And tbh always looked calm snd like he had time on the ball, also a really nicely struck shot in the second half.. thought he had a great game
  7. Angers me tbh that long is higher in the pecking order then gabbi..utterly useless when he came on with first touch like a shovel.i think this substitution for ings pretty much killed us.
  8. Lack of quality tonight really.. lemina's passing was absolutely woeful, Redmond back to hesitant self on majority of occasions.. Think the bright lights were Armstrong who used the ball very well all night and was the one that seemed to bring composure and calmness.. and also targetts delivery again looked good.. just a shame it was shayne long up front where most of his good deliverys came in.
  9. Still think there's a real player here and it's a bit of a waste if we lose him... clearly offers a mile more then Austin and long and also has probably the best technique from all our attackers..seems to get unjustified stick really.. it's more down to him being out of the team then not being decent it's difficult to make impact in fifteen minutes off the bench and the people look at the stats and judge him as a non scoring forward a bit skewed imo
  10. Absolutely.
  11. I could see Redmond being close to a England call if he keeps his current form up
  12. Would be interested to see how gabbi would do in one of the positions like Armstrong is playing but probably not gonna see him again..would probably have the movement link up play and capable of decent long rage shooting though
  13. Interesting..in which way do you think he is one dimensional ? Also does his finishing seem as erratic when he's playing in the youth teams or is it maybe more of a confidence or composure thing ?
  14. I do like that everytime we see him his explosiveness is always giving him chances. Ever since we saw him in the Spurs game.. yesterday probably could have had a hatrick in his cameo
  15. What are you guys making of obafemi? At times he's reminding me a bit of shayne long with the erratic finishing..but at the same time his pace seems to him chances all the time.. kinda interested to see how he would do in a full game now
  16. Personally based on what we see on the pitch I am shocked that gabbi never gets a look in..by far our most balanced striker..would u really prefer to start Austin and long ?
  17. I like lemina but think he can be a little style over substance.. good player to watch for sure but how much of his play contributes to us winning games ? Personally I think hojbjerg has been arguably the better of the pair this season. His drive breaking up play and shooting has been very good..
  18. Thought valery looked terrible on the ball vs Arsenal. Doesn't seem to have a clue what he's doing running with it
  19. but most of our fans were w**nking over the signings like boufal vestergaard elyounoussi etc. most of our fans get excited by whoever we sign until it becomes evident they suck
  20. thought we look the better team so far
  21. where is this new coming from?
  22. Is it really fitness that's the problem near the end of the games though ? Or is it a fragile mentality and playing deeper inviting the opponent onto us more whilst we just try told hold out?
  23. Thought for majority of game this was the best we have looked this season. Why the likes of gav I and Armstrong get ignored so often baffles me.. they looked great in pre season so why always benched? Liked what I saw from hoedt today.. made some good tackles passed the ball well and even went past a player with a roulette.. Regarding hughes will he learn from the positives from the likes of gabbi and Armstrong today or go back to the same dross ? We played some good stuff today but again a bit fragile near then end of the game seems standard we invite pressure on ourselves late on
  24. think hoedt has been quality today. some great link up play from Armstrong and gabbi impressive too. why haven't these two been playing all season ?
  25. Absolutely love the line up.. gabbi and Armstrong in. About time fancy us to take this now and this is our strongest line up of the season for me
