Not sure it’s really a core group of players . The only players regularly starting this season fron the last relegation is kwp and bednarek . Simplistic thinking or not most people on here haven’t really been happy with either russ persistently playing out the from the back under pressure (pundits also mocked us trying this ) .. or juric playing the two man midfield the opposition waltz through .. considering we are still on 9 points it can’t be A much worse idea then what we have had to suffer with this seasons tactics

I’m not sure it’s true that the tactical decisions are silly at all .. let’s be honest we have played idiot tactics for pretty much all the season .. Martin was using the suicidal passing out under pressure which conceded us a ton of goals .. and juric has gave up the midfield in every match bar the last one which we actually needed two penalties to lose to the league leaders if juric actually sticks to the 4 at the back with two dms we will actually get a answer to was it just two idiots setting us up wrong all season but maybe it was just a one off cos it was LiverpooL 😒 . this is kinda last chance saloon for juric imo . If he shows he can adapt now and manages to get a few results with a tactical change Fair play to him yes he could of done it sooner, but at least shows he is open to adapting .. if he reverts back to the 3-4-3 shit is as stubborn and dumb as Martin and it’s gonna be the last time I defend him

Totally depends on results Though doesn’t it ? I’d say it’s better to try and be solid hit teams on the break and get points then try to play good football and lose every week ., we did well yesterday the best team in the country needed two penalties ., it’s a hell of a lot better then the beatings we took from Brighton and Bournemouth etc so it looks a positive change tactically

Possession doesn’t really matter as we know from your boy’s reign of terror . At least juric has finally tried something else now and its the best fit for the players we have at our disposal

Been saying for a while the 4231 is the way to go for us. It gives more cover to the defence stops us getting overrun in midfield and allows us to field the likes of sulemana fernandes and dibling in their best positions and to get more space for them with fast counter attacks .. It’s a step in the right direction for juric this week .Could probably be tweaked better by having Aribo and les instead of smallbone even though he scored., and Paul up top can hold up balls he shouldn’t and be a asset in this style he said he would adapt this week and he did so thumbs up for that .. now stick to it when we play lesser teams then Liverpool and results will come

Looks like a 4231 with dibling Fernandes grobbaek Sully cant complain about this. It’s the formation most of us wanted .. I’m guessing downes is stropping again hence not being on the bench

Must say I’m feeling really sorry for juric watching that press conference and the way some of the fans are turning on him.he seems a lovely guy and I’d love him to turn it around and keep the job .gotta remember we was utterly shit before and it’s a lot more Martin and wilcoxes decisions that put us in this position then juric . he hasn’t done himself any favours with the formation, man markings and playing out of position cbs.. but I’d say there have been improvements in attack and he’s certainly gotten sulemana and Paul looking decent again, they would be more likely to stay in the championship under juric I feel .. Personally I feel he could still a good job championship it’s a huge step down and if martin can get us promoted with passing out from the back and bazunu in goal I can’t see why Ivan couldn’t.’my worry with him would be can he cut it at premiership level? as so far the trial hasn’t worked out .. but maybe it could if he gets recruitment to suit and players that buy in to his ways ?

I don’t really get the hype with rohl.. part of me would prefer juric over rohl as juric sounds like he wants to build something with us .. Rohl on the other hand has that kind of profile that if he does half decent he will get poached this is a bit of a issue with the upcoming manager types

My argument is it’s gonna be harder to attract premiership quality players when we are in the championship . for example I doubt we are gonna be throwing around 15-20 on strikers .. so it’s probably better to try keep hold of rhe 15-20m attackers we have the likes of paul sully AA archer are gonna be top players at this level .. there’s no guarantee that the players we sign will step up a level as we saw with ThB and downes we ended up spending a big chunk of our budget on those two and they where signed when Wilcox was here

Exactly this .. we have a strong championship side that’s been proven .. not sure why everyone is shitting their knickers just because the strong championship players are getting found out at premiership level .. the likes of archer onuachu Armstrong will score a shit ton in the championship AA and archer are proven and they ain’t even good enough to start for us atm

I totally disagree with those saying we need a mass clearout the gap between premiership and championship is huge as you can see by Leicester and Ipswich also being shit.. all three of us very strong last season if we keep most of the squad together most of our players are really strong for championship level and even Martin managed to get promoted with bazunu in goal to add to that what is the point in having a huge revamp n the championship when we will not be able to attract the players we would if in the premiership . Meaning they could end up like downes and Thb or worse again when we get promoted .. surely makes more sense to keep a very championship proven team together and keep our powder mainly dry for when we go up that’s when we need the clear out

Yet on pages 4 and 5 you was absolutely creaming over him sorry but it just seems mad to me when peoples opinion changes so much on a guy we have hardly seen Abk under Ralph was up with lavia as our top prospects and didn’t receive a Germany call up by accident for me he’s kinda in the same bracket as sully and alcaraz russ didn’t like them and pretty much fucked their chances at saints there is a top player in there though

My problem with B is if you just wed yourself to one continuous system over a long period it becomes predictable and other sides can figure you out eventually .. for me I’d rather we just get someone who is tactically flexible . This sticking to one system shit is getting really tiresome now we should be aiming to be able to adapt to other teams and ideas when it’s not working

I see dragon pretty much as a backseat owner a bit like Markus was the main difference is Markus had a absolute gem in cortese overseeing everything so he didn’t have to ., whilst solak has had idiots like Ankerson and Kraft and is now having to step in himself as for open cheque books it isn’t like cortese was spending more then Sr anyway. What I find crazy is when cortese was in charge there was and still is a big portion of people who didn’t like him ., well he was quite the opposite of sports republic the way they get every big decision wrong he got every one right . if you really wanted someone who could run the club and might actually stay I’d take him over this johannes spors all day long .. I noticed spors has had a plethora of clubs and doesn’t usually stick around for more then a couple of years.. I can see this going the same way as shields and Wilcox especially as he’s already been linked with bigger clubs like spurs and Newcastle .
