Thought we looked totally devoid of all confidence first half, misplaced passes and no real threat with two strikers on the pitch. Second half we actually played a bit better but Shane Long, for all his running is just truly awful. I'm not even sure he's championship standard, in fact he's not even a forward. Poor referee again, thought we had a decent penalty shout too but haven't seen it yet on TV. Last 15 minutes we were half decent going forward.

I can't believe any right minded fan would want him to stay a minute longer. Not sure who we'd get to replace him but given the amount of money the club would lose if we were relegated, offering a £4-5m bonus to a manger to keep us up would get quite a few interested and motivated... unlike this idiot we have at the moment

Couldn't get to the game so had to rely on listening to the commentary, as did quite a few others on here. I haven't heard a manager slated for his negative and baffling changes by commentators like that for quite some time, if ever. The comments on this thread are totally understandable based on listening to that, together with witnessing this managers other shocking decisions over the course of this season. By all accounts we almost gave the obligatory late equaliser away and only a poor finish prevented yet another shocking result........

New manager without a doubt. What I expect though will be for the club to stick with him, maybe get a loan signing or two as no decent player would risk joining us permanently until they know we are staying up... Then when there's no improvement in a few weeks they'll sack him but with no point in appointing new manager with no transfer window available, so step forward Kelvin to care take til the end of the season. I really hope I'm wrong!

shocking performance yet again.. I said a few games ago that I was struggling to see teams worse than us other than maybe swansea and west brom and the replies were newcsatle, west ham, palace..... We are pure dog **** and this is only going to end one way with this idiot in charge.

At the moment the club appears to be run like a shambles.... Take it back a few seasons and Reed oversaw excellent player and decent manager recruitment, is it him or those above with a lack of funds/support? He'd go up in people expectations (mine anyway) if he binned off MP and came out saying he made the decision to appoint and it hasn't worked out.

Swansea's one, maybe West Brom.... At the moment I'm struggling to come up with the third based on current performances. Everton, West ham and Palace are all picking up form after realising they had duff managers whereas we'll just blindly continue with this clown and current crop of players who either can't be arsed or are just plainly not good enough.

I shoved money on him staying a couple of weeks back when it looked like the club would stand firm, so now he's bound to go.... Like most I could just about accept him going to Chelsea or abroad but why the hell are we going to cave in to the scousers yet again. After the way they've acted he we should refuse point blank to do business with them. Sky bet have him odds on to go there now
