  1. I was hoping that the Saints media team would put it on the Saints Wall - to use on intarweb etc. Lots of good publicity for both Forster and the club! Thanks to saint_roffa for the link...
  2. Watching MOTD right now. Unbelievable save from Forster
  3. Classics from Halo and RB on this page
  4. I'll second that
  5. Wow such ignorance. You clearly know nothing about this type of injury. If he was picking up a ball at this stage of rehabilitation his spine could easily crack in two and/or he could suffer from gangrene in the arms. FACT. My best bet is that he is putting down the ball which is much more sensible. Don't believe me? Darren Anderton was suffering from a stubbed toe when picking up a ball at the wrong stage of rehabilitation. His body never recovered fully. Also FACT.
  6. I have always looked at that icon as a thumbs up but I will have to reconsider. Have I been using a bear penis icon to signal approvement all these years?

  8. Great thing is that he could probably lure even the best of them to Saints...
  9. A nice well-written article about a very promising young player. He has got all the tools to become a complete midfielder, but the final few pieces need to click - more goals being the most important part
  10. Also, the official website is down which suggests that something is not right with the club. This particular silence is really worrying! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk

  12. I have no idea how Reed's career will pan out or what level he can reach, but right now he is making a difference in this team. Koeman will know his strengths and weaknesses and deploy him when needed either for tactical reasons or because of injuries/suspensions and he seems ready for the challenge. Let's hope he continues his development so that he can make a difference over the course of an entire season with full playing time - that would be amazing...
  13. I can't be arsed to follow the discussion, but the link provided this gem of a picture:
  14. The players you have chosen are probably the 11 best/most fit, but I fear that our two youngsters would be too lightweight in protecting the back four. Cork next to Reed is one option (entirely depending on Cork's fitness) but Davis next to Reed could also work as that would open up for Tadic, Long and Elia supporting Pellè...
  15. Try the commentary track on nfl.com on a matchday - this place is brimming with sense and reason in comparison. Until we lose a game that is
  16. Link for download would be awesome. I will be showing it to my guests in the buildup to the superbowl
  17. The feelgood factor of this "documentary" is immense! Others have pointed out the limitations and weaknesses of this video as a documentary, but that doesn't make it less of a pleasant viewing. And maybe, just maybe we'll have more faith in the people running the club, also when we've lost a few games. They care for the long perspective with sustainable solutions instead of quick fixes... Proud to be a saint!
  18. :(
  19. Interesting observations as the off the ball movement is rather difficult to assess when watching on tv/stream as I do - you simply have to be in the stadium to fully grasp what the team as a whole is doing. So I hope you are right in your thoughts about Toby that he is helping shore up defense through intelligent movement rather than heroics when near the ball (Lovren)...
  20. I would even see West Ham overtake us in the table, if it meant that one of the "small clubs" made it to the top 4 - that's how strongly I feel about it. Imagine Fat Sam in the CL *shudders*... but the outrage would be downright delicious...
  21. We should have moved for Lee Trundle when we had the chance...
  22. After Cahills penalty, Saints is now the only team not to give away a penalty in the league this season...
