If there is a chance he's not going to be here, there's no point in making him an integral part of the side. Only when we know for definite that he will be here should we play him. It's just common sense really. I don't know how much interest there is from other clubs in him but he's turned down Ipswich that to me suggests he's in no real hurry to leave.

Well there's a fairly fundamental point here which you've touched upon. Seeing as the Moon landings were at the height of the Cold War, if they didn't happen, why didn't the Soviets expose them as a hoax? I'm pretty sure they'd want to and if there was an ounce of doubt they would have done in a heartbeat. The reason is just the same as why the West didn't claim that Yuri Gagarin didn't actually orbit the globe - because he did.

Is it just me or does every club in this league try and describe themselves as 'footballing'? I'm not saying Cardiff aren't but with the possible exception of Stoke last season, no-one seems to admit that their side may use the kick and rush tactic more often than not.
