From what I've heard, Gaydamak has actually put very little of his/his Dad's cash in to Pompey, but rather everything is funded on the never-never with loans taken out against Fratton Park. With Gaydamak Senior's finances having been frozen, the banks are far less willing to continue to give them cash for fear of not getting anything back - hence the sudden drying up of their spending. If that is right, I think it's basically a case of Gaydamak Sr acting as guarantor on Junior's spending - but then I'm no economist.

True, but I've got access to a Slingbox via my phone, so I don't need that feature! I did download the PlayTV demo to see what the interface was like and it seemed quite good, so when my FV box does give up the ghost I think PTV will be the way forward for me.

It's essentially a Freeview box, so yes. I'm still interested in it though, especially bearing in mind my Freeview box seems to be on the way out...

The PS3 needs a separate IP address (for example if your PC is 192.168.0.2 the PS3 should be 192.168.0.4) As far as I can remember from when I set my PS3 up, as long as you have the can detect the wireless network and have the network key (the security code that lets you connect to the network) the PS3 and router should be able to do the rest between them.

Anyone else downloaded it? I've got to say it's well worth the £12 it's going for on PSN - although I think I'd get far more out of it if I actually had a HD TV... I haven't ventured online with it yet, simply because I know I'll just get my behind handed to me on a plate but if anyone else fancies a game let me know.

One question - the figures you base the shortfall on (wages and gate revenue) where did you get them from? Or have you just guessed at them?
