Before I get accused of being an NC luvvie (or whatever b*ll sh*t phrase is being used to describe those who don't blame him for everything that is wrong with the club) I'm just trying to be objective and ask where these ideas come from in the first place?

Don't get me wrong I don't think what the club are doing with the pictures is a good idea, I'm just questioning the fact that all the decisions come directly from NC. Before anyone just quotes the stuff about the club being NC's baby blah blah blah, explain to me why we're recuiting top UEFA marketing agents if they're not making decisions etc? Better still explain to me why someone like this guy would leave UEFA to become NC's yes man?

I'm not saying good news doesn't sell. It's prob fairer to say extremes either way sell more, but that's just the nature of newspapers. My original point was that if the echo is starved of good news stories (a trip to Wembley aside) they will be more inclined to print negative exclusives.

For the echo bad news sells. The echo also prints stories based on pure speculation, although I suppose they're kind of forced to at the moment. To be honest I can sort of see both sides in this. I understand the club wanting it's own exclusives on the OS and I can understand the echo's frustration at being frozen out.
