They charged people who bought tickets after the first day, I think.

Have any members tried the 'buy a home Inter ticket to be eligible for an away one' workaround/loophole?

Which is fine if games sell out and people miss out on tickets because they don't have a purchase history. The difference with this game is that there will be 1000+ tickets left unsold and instead of putting them on general sale the club are insisting on this purchase history rule.

I asked them over email and they refused to answer. They just said that people shouldn't buy flights before they get match tickets... Ridiculously naive from the club.

Tickets went on sale at 9am and there's no queue at all now. Maybe everyone's waiting for general sale.

A mate of mine can't now go and is selling his flight with Easyjet from LGW - out Wednesday afternoon back Friday afternoon. £210 which includes the name change fee.

Going by the numbers posted this morning we've only sold 700 or so tickets since 9am Thursday. I'm not sure we're going to sell all 5,000.

There's no loophole. You have to select the name of the customer/season ticket holder when adding the ticket to the basket and then re-enter the name (with passport details) on the next screen. If these don't match they won't issue the ticket.

I've just got one and the number was 2433 - straight in, no queue. I'm not sure we've sold as many as people think!

I should clarify that I've heard that 3rd hand (via a mate of a mate) and not directly from Inter.

Apparently hospitality is only on sale to home fans.

I don't think the club have done enough to stress that this isn't an empty threat. As others have said, these kind of processes are often talked about but never carried out, so people just ignore them. I wonder if the club will find out which tickets end up having an ID mismatch.

Yep, the same happened to us at the Euros. But from what I've read on here and elsewhere Italy is different and ID will be checked. I think people will still ignore the warning which could lead to loads of tickets being wasted.

Are you trying on a mobile? I had to use the full site to do mine, my seat was never available on the mobile version.
