The day they stop referring to themselves immodestly as "the best fans in the world" will be the day I might start showing them some empathy/pity. Plus I note, Fratton Park is now being described as an "old lady" which must be an euphemism if I ever heard one. Their whole demeanour is full of nauseous hype but the natives swallow it and the myths just go on and on which is why there will always be a need for this thread.

Most likely one pilot went to the toilet and while in the loo the other passed out/heart attack. The cockpit door can only be opened from inside - cabin crew cannot open it.

You wait until Portsmuff get there, they will smash all those records of course.

Saints agree personal terms with Tonny Vilhena - Unofficial

Agree 100% - both players in the last 3 months have been massively disappointing. I regard Long at £12m far better value. -

Well I have mentioned Channon with 10, but Paine and Day missed 6 each, big Ron missed 4, Ball 3, John Page 5, George O'Brien 4 and the rest are twos and threes like Cockerill and Ruddock missed a couple each as did McGoldrick and most memorably for me Surman missed one at Doncaster and netted me £1250 -

Missed 80, that's a success rate of 79% ie 1 in 5 we miss -
Knew Kevin way back before his accident, top lad, staunch fan.

Those four players missed just 3 between them (Peach 2 and Le Tiss 1) but I gotta warn you before them we had some disasters. Mick Channon for instance missed 10 from 38 -
Tadic's rather dodgy pen v Chelsea, was the 350th Saints have been awarded in competitive football since the war. The question is........... how many have we missed and what is our success rate percentage wise? I am off to the game now via the pub but have a guess and I will come back later this evening with the answers.

Good to see Sam Gallagher getting back to where he was. Thought he was especially good in the air last night and he worked his socks off. -
Sorry it is not selfless ..... it is lacking bottle
 -
Sorry he does not cut it for me - he had a wonderful opportunity in the second half but dallied and took three touches he didn't need to before looking for another player. I would get rid.

				Post-Match Reaction: Chelsea 1-1 SAINTS
Fitzhugh Fella replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Decent right up - welcome point but really surprised Tadic didn't take a couple of extra touches before hitting the pen http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/mar/15/chelsea-southampton-premier-league-match-report?CMP=twt_gu -
It is Ms Liebherr's son, he spent some time training with the Academy lads last autumn and he has become a bit of a fan I am led to believe.

Sam Gallagher's cross for Seager's goal was the best I have seen at SMS this season.

J Loved the Micky Mouse analogy! -
Wow rewrite history why don't you - always found him to be pretty straight and at the time he pointed out his sources so it was up to us whether or not we believed him.
