  1. As is your infatuation with my every post. Remembering I have previously criticised Tadic must mean you have little else to remember I guess, fine you think the sun shines out his arse, I happen to think the guy is a phoney- you are welcome to your opinion, but forgive me for daring to challenge it. Do you stalk others on here remembering their every uttering? Just curious.
  2. Feel the criticism levelled at Targett to be really unfair, the kid has hardly put a foot wrong since he came into the side. If we are going to criticise a player the one who should be hanging his head is Tadic who for my money is the biggest show pony since one Anders Svensson. The fact that he does possess skill makes his performances even more frustrating. He simply is not cut out for the premiership, he lacks bottle, physical presence, work rate and has no idea how to defend. And yet on this forum tonight fans would rather throw bricks at a youngster who gives his all, is committed and at least keeps going until the final whistle. Give me Targett over Tadic any day. I also think Soares has picked up unwarranted criticism, yes he is poor defensively and he has a lot to learn, but he showed plenty of spirit and enthusiasm which is more than you can say about the Serbian slacker.
  3. Beckham to Preston, Defoe to Bournemouth- I think the opposite of what you say to be nearer the mark. It's simply the gap between U21 and the Prem is huge and ambitious players want game time.
  4. Get over yourself you pompous ****. Just reporting what Sky said and they said "in talks". People like you drag this forum down with unnecessary personal attacks.
  5. What it says on the tin, can't believe it personally
  6. Excuse my ignorance but what is a LCM?
  7. I wonder why some players are given 3year deals and others longer
  8. If this had been offered a few days ago I would have jumped.
  9. You have omitted the 2m we got from Madrid for Toby's buy back
  10. Like I said not complaining about the fairness just the ridiculous bunfight for tickets the small allocation and the fact you have to gamble when booking flights etc
  11. I am not saying its unfair but wish the photographic ID bit was made public before we had to grab flights and trains etc. There are about 20 of us and we all use each others ST priority depending on who wants to go where. A couple of my mates who had higher priority told me I could use their ST numbers as we have done several times in the past. Now I can't do that as I look nothing like them!!!!
  12. That's me screwed after playing out £300 for travel etc
  13. Cheers just back now, what wonderful people you lot were, so friendly and welcoming. Arnhem is one of the most civilised places I have been to. Stayed in Velp which is a lovely suburb full of great bars and a great music festival last night. Can't praise the inhabitants of your lovely city enough.
  14. I was there and just before the trouble I saw about 60 Dutch fans walking almost like a platoon up along the side of the square where the DJ was playing and most of the Saints fans were assembled. Not one sported any Vitesse colours although they were chanting "Arnhem". They did not look right and they seemed to know where they were going. 5 minutes later the fighting broke out in the square adjacent to where the majority of the Saints fans were. I got there about 30 seconds afterwards, spoke to some Saints lads who were present and they said these fans started a fight which the police quickly quelled. I spoke to loads of Vitesse fans at the stadium plus your usual taxi drivers etc and to a man they all said this bunch were Feyenoord fans intent on besmirching the good name of Vitesse. I was inclined to believe them to be honest. They were not really targeting Saints fans but just looking to stir up a bit of trouble.
  15. I was there FM and agree 100% with your analysis, it was a frustrating game to watch even though there was little doubt we would go through.
  16. Good to see lots of Saints fans at the Arnhem war cemetery just now
  17. I assume you weren't at Watford Sept 1980 Steve?
  18. Mick Williams (the glum one with a hound dog, kipper face) resigned from the Trust board six months ago, so he could spend more time ironing the club's tablecloths, apparently.
  19. what time is ko - it seems a closely guarded secret?
  20. I think these deals are structured that the more the loanee plays the cheaper he becomes.
  21. I think Stephens will stay, the club have been impressed with him following his return from Swindon.
  22. Sam instigated it after a talk with RK.
  23. Just spoken to Sam, he's very positive about the move and looking forward to playing Rotherham on Saturday week. Plus it's good that he already knows Cody Cropper and Ben Reeves, which will help him settle. MK Dons have made him feel really welcome and the manager has told him he is looking forward to working with him in training and improving him. I told him to bang a few goals in and come back a better player. There is no doubt it's a big jump between U21 and the Premiership and these sort of loans are vital for the youngsters. Would not be surprised to see a few others from that U21 final side seek loan moves over the next few weeks.
  24. Yea but he has a great season and you know who will come sniffing. The loan part of this deal is intriguing.
  25. Looking good for the MK Dons
