£3m signing on fee might have had something to do with it.

They never had legions of deluded fans like Tadic does. I have read this morning that perhaps he is suffering from an illness so I will withdraw a little of my scorn for his recent performances although I don't know why Koeman puts him on the bench if he is not 100%. The frustrating thing about Tadic is he does have skill, plenty of it but its just his complete lack of fight. Plenty of players with much less skill than him never knew when to give up.

Desperate stats. He's lightweight, flatters to deceive and can't actually even get into our side at the moment. Set up a goal at Anfield? Wow big deal! Four assists at home to Sunderland? Mate I'm 60 and I could have done that with my eyes shut. Sunderland were so ****e. Tell me this, if he is so good why isn't he in the team? Answer is even Koeman knows he is garbage.

So three games in and money in the bank we are down to damage limitation? Hmmm.

He simply is not cut out for the Prem. A show pony is a polite way of putting it.

It would help if we had someone who can shoot from 18 yards - perhaps we should make an offer for Sparv but failing that Austin. We are playing now like we all thought we would last season. I feel we have finally been rumbled. A point at Watford is OK but we have regressed mightily from 2 years ago.

Or do away with the window altogether, all it does is hype the media and give Sky reporters something to do. Let's go back to it being open all season until the last Thursday in March. This last minute trough gathering by the filthy rich is unbecoming. -
CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal

Well firstly he's free (ish), secondly Fonte is no spring chicken any more (18 months older than Vlaar), Martina bought very much for cover and heard McCarthy keen on a loan. With Caulker on a 1 yearloan contract having Vlaar as cover for Gardos makes sense. -

I think we will announce the arrival of both VW and Vlaar on Wednesday -

Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition

Wanyama has lost it recently - he is a liability to be honest. heart was never in it - I will be glad to get rid. At least Cork always gave 100%. -
Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition

He's **** any way - to be a good footballer you need to pass and shoot, he can do neither, plus he has little football intelligence. Another reason I wish we held on to Cork -
The messenger always get shot on this forum especially when he is the bearer of uncomfortable news.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 FC Midtjylland
Fitzhugh Fella replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I'd like to know where you get that optimism, I've seen us play 4 competitive games this season and we have been poor in all four. -

I was sure we bought a right back to replace Clyne, but I obviously dreamt it because Yoshida has got that gig. No worries about Wanyama going to Arsenal, they don't buy players who can't shoot or pass. Jay Rod needs 3 months in the U21s. It was painful watching him tonight. Thought we were a rabble tonight, no leadership on the pitch, disjointed and quite frankly I think Koeman has screwed up for the second time in a week., -
Whatever is happening all this is bound to have an unsettling effect on Mane and right now that is a big concern. To my mind he is our match winner and to lose him would be pretty disastrous. I am sure the club will try and hold on to him but he has an excitable nature and I am not sure he would react well to being denied a move.
