  1. Sakho on loan would have been a good acquisition even for £4m. He hasn't played much recently (no need to rotate), agreed, but he has played a lot more than Gardos over the last 2 years and Puel was happy for him to be on the bench last night and face Arsenal
  2. Did anyone see Harlee Dean for Brentford v Villa last night? He was superb. Now where have I heard that name before?
  3. Doesn't speak English unfortunately
  4. Saturday's programme contained a feature on Taylor which explained the rationale of his signing
  5. Good to see Sam there last night http://www.rovers.co.uk//news/article/2016-17/sam-gallagher-blackburn-rovers-blackpool-3539208.aspx
  6. Good to see Sam was there http://www.rovers.co.uk//news/article/2016-17/sam-gallagher-blackburn-rovers-blackpool-3539208.aspx
  7. Yea excellent away support, fair play to them all
  8. Hold my hands up and I admit I got it totally wrong by saying we didn't have a chance of winning over two legs. I am an arse for doubting and congratulations to Puel for this (especially without van Dijk). The irony of Carragher moaning at half-time about Liverpool missing Mane was hilarious.
  9. Wow how quickly fans turn. If SFC had won the Premier League last season I would have meekly accepted relegation this year. Pathetic maybe but to win the Prem???
  10. Lino did not raise his flag at all at any stage so I presume saw nothing wrong. Quite bizarre
  11. A perfect day apart from van Dijk's injury
  12. You know that for sure do you?
  13. That's a ridiculous request but we would be mad not to assume it, and make contingency plans before it happens, which is something I am afraid we haven't seem to have done with Fonte
  14. We just can't score goals, and that's where the root of our problems have arisen from.
  15. Puel quick to his computer?
  16. Wasn't taking the p, sorry if you thought I was. Just trying to explain things but it is a good example of how written words can be interpreted differently.
  17. I am excited by this "Me" we have signed - I knew Les would not let us down, thank the Lord
  18. No not at all but I knew because I am not anonymous I was bound to get some personal stuff and so it proved.
  19. Turkish can write v funny posts, just don't understand why he turns some of them into personal vindictiveness. Perhaps he knows me ????
  20. Not so sure you know the exact meaning of the word pedant?
  21. Congratulations! When I wrote the OP on Sunday morning I said it would flush a few people out and although it took 134 posts I am not surprised that the person who made the most unpleasant reply was you. I don't know why you keep on about me being a historian, perhaps you are jealous but just to put the record straight for future generations who stumble on this Forum one day, most of what you sneeringly wrote is factually untrue. But if it helps you think you are funny then so be it.
  22. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/15026930.The_staggering_extent_of_Claude_Puel_s_player_rotation___when_will_it_stop_/?ref=mac
  23. Good to hear from you Rich
  24. Because on a match thread you post basically the same message every 10 minutes. To me it looks like you are on a one man propaganda mission. It's like Dalek going on about relegation all the time, both irritate.
