Agree with all this particularly Bertrand's body language. Something is not right behind the scenes because Redmond too is acting like a spoilt child and the players generally lack leadership. Was it the Grove you went to? A cracking real ale pub that offered 19 different bitters?

Can't believe I am going but I wonder why if CB Fry will turn up?

Don't know if your friends regularly went to watch Rovers but I sat in the away end for several of their games last season and no one near me had a bad word. Indeed it hat was quite a clamour for him to come back. I am not saying he is top Premier League standard yet, but relying on Austin and Long staying fit is a gamble lessened with Sam in the wings. -

The Echo quoting Pellegrino saying unlikely to be any more signings. Hope he is pulling someone's leg as I can't believe we are going into the autumn with just 3 not always fit strikers. At least hold onto Gallagher. -
Keep the morale of the troops up and all that

For once I agree with you. He also needs games, it's so hard to get a rhythm going when you make occasional forays from the bench. He has skill and has a better attitude to Tadic so I would give him 10 games on the bounce.

Sounds like the players and manager will thought along the same lines as you.

Right on cue! Unlike you I actually care about my team and any defeat hurts like hell. Sorry if that upsets you but I have long come to realise you inhabit this forum not because you have a passion for Saints but because of your narcissistic nastiness. As a matter of interest do you ever go to games and do you ever comment on the football or are you just content being the forum clever ****?

When Saints screw up badly, like they have tonight, would it not be a good idea if all the pious happy clappy club apologists took a few hours off to let the ones that really suffer in the real world to wallow in our collective misery, without being preached to or patronised. Nothing worse than a happy clappy or a fan in denial on a night like this.

Sorry again I have got to disagree. In your heart of hearts have you really been impressed with our displays in our first two games? I have not. Hardly anything has changed or has it, this time last year we were still in 3 cups and now we have just one. You keep looking for positives and yet that is hardly progress. forgive me tonight if I am just a little gloomy that we are being run competently.

There were too many asterisks in your reply for me to fully understand it. Sorry. What I was saying is sometimes you need to post less to say more. You often talk sense but then you ruin it by talking too much like tonight. Trying to defend or make excuses for the dross on display today marks you out as a club quisling.
-
Incidentally are you going to Huddersfield? You are v confident we are going to win so assume you are going?
-
Maybe you should post less on this forum, you need to get into the real world a bit more. Tonight real fans are letting off steam, relax or even join in, anything they show you are not an automated android passionless cyber creep.

A view to buy at the end of the window? Going to be the shortest loan in history that -
Sam Gallagher - Joins Blackburn: Official
Fitzhugh Fella replied to Sergei Gotsmanov's topic in The Saints
He actually started 35 Lg games and 2 in the FA cup and scored 12 goals which puts a different perspective on things especially as he was in a struggling team and playing out wide for a lot of the time. Danny Graham took the penalties too. -
Sam Gallagher - Joins Blackburn: Official
Fitzhugh Fella replied to Sergei Gotsmanov's topic in The Saints
So is Sam going to be replaced? The million dollar question. We have three forwards, one injury prone, one newish to the Premiership and Shane Long who I like but is not a goalscorer. Is that enough for a tough season in the Premier League? Playing one upfront the answer could be yes but everytime Gabbiadini gets crunched we will all be wincing -

Not joining either. -
Has anyone read what is written on them?

The last time Saints finished a game with 2 successful penalty takers on the pitch was 1979 at home to Spurs when first .......... and then .............. scored from the spot in a 3-3 draw. Fill in the gaps without looking it up.

Smart arse alert.

Really? You happy with that performance?
