Good post.

Letting Gallagher go on loan is already looking a bad decision especially as we did not replace him

Not the ones I have spoken to - have you a source? -
I don't think people post doom and gloom with "glee", that's just your interpretation. I certainly don't but I must admit I am very concerned at present because I don't think it is a case of just a few bad days at the office. The malaise runs deeper than that.

Dislike the guy intensely but I have more confidence that the club was being run properly then.

Yes Steve hit a lot of nails in that summary but I would point out that Lemina does not provide any pace. In fact at Huddersfield he looked very lacking in that department.

Sad that all of a sudden VvD is being touted as our saviour. Only 2 weeks ago he was Satan reincarnated. Saints fans would sell their souls for a point. Desperation has come early.

Only Saints could turn a Lamborghini into a Robin Reliant. -

Massive gamble not getting anyone in who can play upfront. Only 1 injury away from being seriously weak when it comes to forward options. To think we let 3 forwards go on loan (Seager, Olomola and Gallagher) and sold Rodriguez without one incoming is not very good planning. -
Stephens maybe could replace Romeu?

B'ham did pay Saints a £1m fee but all the other figures in that article are garbage. As for playing for Harry - he may be an absolute **** but Sam will certainly learn a few things about the political aspects of being a footballer. I gather his education has already started in fact. He will get lots of positives out of this loan deal. -

That Mail article was utter tosh, take it from me the figures were grossly exaggerated and I mean grossly. Someone at Birmingham has a grudge I reckon. -
I see one time Saint Harley Dean is leaving Brentford to join Birmingham for £2m

Is there such things as "principles" in the Premier League anymore?
-
Agree with all this particularly Bertrand's body language. Something is not right behind the scenes because Redmond too is acting like a spoilt child and the players generally lack leadership. Was it the Grove you went to? A cracking real ale pub that offered 19 different bitters?

Can't believe I am going but I wonder why if CB Fry will turn up?

Don't know if your friends regularly went to watch Rovers but I sat in the away end for several of their games last season and no one near me had a bad word. Indeed it hat was quite a clamour for him to come back. I am not saying he is top Premier League standard yet, but relying on Austin and Long staying fit is a gamble lessened with Sam in the wings. -

The Echo quoting Pellegrino saying unlikely to be any more signings. Hope he is pulling someone's leg as I can't believe we are going into the autumn with just 3 not always fit strikers. At least hold onto Gallagher. -
Keep the morale of the troops up and all that

For once I agree with you. He also needs games, it's so hard to get a rhythm going when you make occasional forays from the bench. He has skill and has a better attitude to Tadic so I would give him 10 games on the bounce.
-
Sounds like the players and manager will thought along the same lines as you.
-
Right on cue! Unlike you I actually care about my team and any defeat hurts like hell. Sorry if that upsets you but I have long come to realise you inhabit this forum not because you have a passion for Saints but because of your narcissistic nastiness. As a matter of interest do you ever go to games and do you ever comment on the football or are you just content being the forum clever ****?

When Saints screw up badly, like they have tonight, would it not be a good idea if all the pious happy clappy club apologists took a few hours off to let the ones that really suffer in the real world to wallow in our collective misery, without being preached to or patronised. Nothing worse than a happy clappy or a fan in denial on a night like this.

Sorry again I have got to disagree. In your heart of hearts have you really been impressed with our displays in our first two games? I have not. Hardly anything has changed or has it, this time last year we were still in 3 cups and now we have just one. You keep looking for positives and yet that is hardly progress. forgive me tonight if I am just a little gloomy that we are being run competently.
