I get Hamburg (a) Keegan and Anderlecht (a) 1977 mixed up a little but Anderlechct for me was 48 hours on a coach, the beer in Brussells, the Saints fans singing "Chanson D'Amour" to the bemused Belgian cops and Channon having a good goal ruled out for offside. (Years later there were allegations made that were never refuted that the ref took a bribe). The coach left at midnight from West End, Southampton - you can imagine what sort of state everyone was in.

So the Swiss or bust then?
-
Next season? Are you ITK?
-
I'd rather you won gloating rights tbh.

I want to be proved wrong....very much Gingeletiss.
-
Absolutely - I have some interesting documents I would happily hand over. Mr Fry are you out there?
-
Gingeletiss - greetings from the dark side - can you see now why I called for the backer to come forward? This never added up, especially since the exclusivity period ended - I have some of the original Pinnacle paperwork in my possesion and it was becoming clear to me that TL was not being 100% straight - hence my call on this thread. I take no pleasure however because if the Swiss bid now fails it will be the end and tyre kickers like Lynham will have played their part.

Care to reappraise Delmary?

Fry must ditch Pinnacle and then resign ...

And TL has been lying. -
Unhelpful and not in the least funny.

Do you think the Pinnacle bid will succeed? Poll

Investor worth several hundred million?

Hear the Echo have done some digging on this money man and are intending (at present) to run a double page spread. -
I don't think you really understand the word "principle". I pass on whatever I can to inform and that was what I was doing. I am really worried about the future of my club while meanwhile you seem to think being aggressive and macho on a keyboard appropriate in these troubled times. Decent people do not reveal sources unless they are given permission, and I did not have that permission so I was unable to satisfy your request to name or shut the f*** up. Your true colours come shining through - I have always tried to turn a blind eye to your nasty little fascist ways, you are after all a Saints fan but I shall now revert to my gut instinct and in future ignore your rather sad attempts at cyber bullying. Bye Oh and by the way its derry in my book!

What a nasty little person you are

Being told by someone on the periphery of things that Fry will start "winding" the club up if no deal is reached by tomorrow evening.

Peter Reid says he has not been approached
Fitzhugh Fella replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Then Ron, Jackson should not have thrown Reid's name around the Echo corridors. -
to manage Saints according to today's Echo. So another piece of Jackson bull then. It is way past time Carter and Co at the Echo stopped giving this bufoon the oxygen of publicity and got down to some serious investigative journalism. Like finding out the real reason Pinnacle and the league are at loggerheads.

Can I just point out to Gordon Mockles I do not think Tony Lynham to be a tyre kicker. As things stand I still hope and want Pinnacle to suceed. I am however a little confused as to the exact nature of the hold up. I have now been very reliably informed it isn't related to the 10 points which is also confusing as Lynham originally said it was. After falling hook line and sinker for Wilde's bulls*it I have become a little more cautious as to how quickly I tie my ribbon to a wagon but at the same time I do accept beggars can't be choosers and if Pinnacle pull it off (which surely they must do within 48 hours) I will be very grateful. Hope that clears up my stance Gordon - I have had no current contact with Anthony Salz or Leon Crouch - I have spoken to neither man for nearly 6 months. My views and posts are my own despite what Dubai Phil says. Frustrated Fingers remaining tightly crossed. Cheers!

Thanks for that. Seems very catch 22 to me.
-
The bit that confuses me is the apparent need for the league and Pinnacle to agree "a contract". Is this the clause to not appeal or is it something else? It seems the whole delay is because the League and Pinnacle are at loggerheads over something other than the 10 points and I am struggling to understand what that is. I thought the league only had to be satisfied in the suitability of the owners to grant license? So many questions and while I appreciate TL's message and sentiments I am never afterwards, ever any clearer as to the real nature of the problem.

Have you heard the problem with the League may go deeper than just the 10 points?
