  1. Clough's green sweat shirt, blue trackie bottoms was a classic
  2. Don't think I can recall seeing Ted Bates, Lawrie McMenemy or Harry Redknapp wearing a pair of slim fit denims on the touchline before? Is Mauricio our most stylish manager of all time or do others prefer the Alan Ball cloth cap look or even Paul Sturrock's crumpled fried egg sandwich image. Nigel always looked smart in a suit but there again so did Ian Branfoot.
  3. I found the Liverpool comments much more rational than most other fans forums. They know their football
  4. Still think we should have kept him for cover, Schneiderlin is a booking away from suspension
  5. Let's hope Clattenburg is charged for losing control of his faculties. Ridiculous but sort of sums up the FA.
  6. Just an idle thought - could the BVI loan have been taken out to facilitate NC's plans to buy the club from the Liebherr's some time in the near future?
  7. One word says it for me and it is a word Pochettino should be made aware of SHAMBLES
  8. Lallana incisive? He does not know the meaning of the word. Great lad and all that but far too much fiddle faddle.
  9. Do you know what I am supporting Hall - much as I "hate" Pompey I hate these ****ers more
  10. Gardening leave leaves you very much in limbo - I think you will find he wants to move on.
  11. Not the best English I have ever read (no offence), but I am inclined to agree with your overall summary of what actually happened.
  12. Shaw was on his way to Southampton but he aint playing tomorrow unfortunately
  13. Why is it when anyone says anything referring to the skates the word "massive" somehow has to be used. Massive delusions of grandeur more like.
  14. I don't think Punch is going to happen. Priority wise surely his situation needed sorting quicker than MS's.
  15. You well be right re Redknapp but you gotta to admit Lowe placed certain restraints around his neck that made things inevitable that he would fail. The two men were totally incompatible.
  16. That is a very good question
  17. I have learnt two things today - the FL are stitching the trust up and I can't write limericks there once was a man called Trevor who got into a bit of a dither the bestest did cry "we should have had Fry and St Marys next to a river".
  18. Now I got to graduate to the popcorn ones, they really are funny especially after this afternoon's revelations.
  19. it's been an education
  20. Sort of proves that the idiot Allen still hasn't grasped the basics of the situation. Creditors? What are they? (If I new how to insert face palm I would)
  21. So chaps and chapesses, who do we want to actually takeover, the bestest fans trust with no money or the Keith and Orville Chanrai puppet show with no integrity - who will give us the most laughs? I need to know before I decide how big a bag of popcorn I have to buy. I reckon those on a SO post code if you listen hard enough the sound of a lot of wriggling can be heard on the breeze coming up the M27.
  22. this thread on the Lounge may have escaped your notice http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?14620-Pompey-Takeover-Saga&p=1627466#post1627466
  23. Hear hear -
  24. I was there and in the home fans end trying to hide my scarf. When Tommy scored the whole end applauded him, always been a bit of a Hammers fan because of that. Today he is in Vancouver, I spoke to him a few years ago when we did the giveittoron thing
