  2. love that "bubbly-soaked figurehead of a social experiment" line - you must have had a fine English teacher.
  3. loyalty needs to be a two way street though and not sure there is more than one street in SMS
  4. No but he doesn't even shake hands with the opposing players at the final whistle. Yesterday he just ran off (quicker than at any stage during the game too). I am losing patience with him, square peg in a round hole, a bit like Ramirez. £25m up the Swanee.
  5. And no one should appreciate that more than you...mate!
  6. I refer you to my earlier post (nos 134) in this thread http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?47608-January-2014-Transfer-news-amp-rumours/page3#.Uo9j4lp****
  7. More money being found behind Guy's sofa? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25036990
  8. I stand by what I said, I believe the club think the youngsters are more than adequate cover.
  9. Don't think we will be in for anyone
  10. Hi the book will be available through us (website or pick up at SMS, or Eastleigh) or Waterstones. It will not be available at the club shop I am afraid. Mick Channon is doing a signing session at Waterstones Above Bar on the 5th December at 7pm if you can make it?
  11. Hope not he was clubbing it last night
  12. I have a little respect for this guy despite the fact he is a Skate. He did put his head above the parapet, he did take on the money men and he was right. I want Pompey to disappear into the non-league forever but I can't help thinking he did at least have the balls.
  13. He's still around, breeds sheep dogs but keeps an eye out for the Saints still
  14. Martin picked up a nasty ligament injury pre season, hence his absence
  15. Stuart Williams who played full-back for Saints 1962-66 and was Ted Bates's assistant between 1971 and 1973 has passed away. Previously with West Brom and capped over 40 times for Wales. I have sent the club a fuller profile which will be on their website shortly. A very nice man indeed, I would like to offer my condolences to all his family.
  16. Well said
  17. Nick Holmes is now coming
  18. Glenn Cockerill and Tommy Widdrington now accepted
  19. we are 150/1 so I guess that means we are safe?
