Long on for JWP at halftime please we have nothing coming down the right side at present.

Can't see how we are going to get back into this game at the moment. We are possing no threat at all. Need some pace up front to try and stretch them a bit. Far to comfortable for Liverpool.

Was surprised when I heard we were in for him, but think he will do OK. Price a bit of a shock but I guess with what we've brought in in transfer fees this window we were bound to have to pay over the odds. He will close down from the front & never give opposing defenders a minutes peace. So welcome aboard Shane. Much need striker.

Billy Sharp joins Leeds for Undisclosed fee
Under Weststand replied to KelvinsRightGlove's topic in The Saints
Good luck Billy, you played a vital part to get us back in the premier league. You deserve a bit of luck now hope it goes well with Leeds and you score plenty for them. -
Voted for Morgan hoping we can keep him. If he does go then I'd give it to Fonte.

Very smart like both kits.

Dusan Tadic - DONE DEAL, official and everything
Under Weststand replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
Great some good news, hopefully this will be the turning point with some more good signings to come. Welcome to Dusan, looks a good player should fit right in here. -
You came when we were at our lowest point, you put your money into the club & resurrected Saints. I wish You had been here to see and savour every step up the ladder we took. Forever in our memories. Thank you Markus.

We have to draw a line in the sand at some point. This is it for me, we simply cannot continue to sell players however much is offered. We have to send a message to the players we still retain & the footballing world outside that we can say NO no More! To capitulate to another player just means we are a soft touch, and can be manipulated by anyone. F**k Lovren let him go on strike, & keep fining him if he wants to be a c**t let him rot for his contract. We don't need the money so why would we sell again.

No f**king wonder all the players want to leave, if that's what they will have to wear. And I wouldn't blame them.

In the immortal words of John McEnroe, Jesus Christ you cannot be Serious! This is surely a fake, the board simply couldn't inflict this on us Could They?

Ha ha that is brilliant, I was expecting a letter expressing his reasons, thanking the club for all they've done for him, etc etc! How wrong was I. Massive ego all over the face not egg.

Appalling show of grace from the Club and some fans
Under Weststand replied to jasonb's topic in The Saints
He had the chance today to make a heart felt statement which may have meant something. Instead he chose to make entirely inappropriate statement which neither thanked, or in anyway made a statement of good intent towards the club & it's fans. So for that reason he has shown a complete lack of respect & his advertisement tomorrow is nothing short of a PR stunt & a sham. His words will hold a hollow ring tomorrow. To little to late! -
Appalling show of grace from the Club and some fans

Adam made a crass statement today basically showing no respect to the club & it's supporters, the club made a short statement saying the transfer had completed. I see nothing wrong with the club's actions today. I'm disappointed that Adam chose to act the way he has today. As far as I'm concerned he's gone now THE END. -
Lallana completes move to LFC for a fee of around £25m
Under Weststand replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Well I'd like to thank him for his service & the memories whilst here. But he has really let himself down since he was called up to England. He really turned into a Billy big boll**ks. I'd also like to apologise to Mark Clattenburg, who called him dead right. As for the future, couldn't care less if does well or not. Just hope Tadic helps us to forget him as soon as possible. His comments today show his complete lack of respect for Southampton FC. Goodbye Adam the end! -
Have people become so obsessed with NC's champions league bulls**t that they've forgotten the original 5-year plan also included we have to be self sufficient. At present were living beyond our means, and are having to take a step backwards, to take a breath and move forward again. We over spent on Staplewood which needs to be paid for, and loans that also need paying off. We have an exciting new coach in place who obviously new the state of affairs, but still chose to come here. So why would we want a new owner who may may or may not be better. You just have to look at some other clubs not to far away to see the kind of s**t you can get into. Leeds are still in the deep brown stuff years & years after chasing the Champions league dream. And looks like they have another lunatic in charge. So excuse me but I'd rather stick with Katharina Thanks all the same.

Basically the deals completing now, look as though they were as good as done before the world cup.so yes he would have known about them. He would also know that Lovren, if as reported had put in a transfer request, and would likely have known of any other malcontent's who would push for a move. He may believe he can talk one or two around, or at least into giving him a chance. Yet with all this he has bought into the next plan, and wouldn't put his reputation at risk unless he felt he could achieve something here.

That would be just rubbing salt in the wound.

Very sad day today, failing to see any real positives with what's happening at present. All very well having money to blow, getting the right players in will be a real test. Only thing I'm hanging onto at the moment is would Koeman come if we didn't have some sort of plan? However carp it looks today.

Well before we lost anyone we needed :- a Keeper a Centre half JRod being out at the start of the season at least one striker. Having lost SRL and now Shaw that's 2 strikers needed and a left back. So that's at least 5 today. Lose Lovren, Lallana & maybe Schnederlin we are looking at 8-players. We also have to tie down Cork and Fonte, god forbid we lose them as well.
