  1. We do have a laugh at the adkinisms all pulling together grabbing an oar, all aboard the bus now known as the busboat. But he is just such a positive person, his attitude hasn't changed all season long. Even when flying at the start of the season & through that rough ten game period, when it looked like we'd lost our way, his belief in the style of play & his squad was unshakable. The squad are as one & that spirit will always give you a chance even when your having an off day. Thanks for posting that video it was great last night & just shows what it means to them all. Adkins appears to be keeping all their feet on the ground as well. Long may it continue! WIFM
  2. If we are talking Individual saves, then I would have to say Neimi's triple save against Arsenal, just topping Blaney's save from Shearer. And irrespective of whether Becchio's shot was going in or not, Kelvin's save last night a very close third. EOA has introduced a certain keeper, who will probably not get much of a mention Ivan Katalinic or affectionately known as (Katastrophic). His shot stopping was unbelievable at times, then he would miss a simple cross or punch almost always resulting in a goal.
  3. I still can't quite believe we came through that onslaught with 3 really valuable points last night. Kelvin was magnificent the save from Beccchio, was fantastic when he looked sure to score. Special mention to Hammond as well I thought he put his body on the line a few times throwing himself in the way to block shots. And that scramble when they hit the bar twice my heart was in my mouth. As said by a few it was great to see Warnock going apoplectic & purple on the side line. Yes we rode our luck last night, but we also have been defending so much better lately & this squad togetherness & spirit will do us well over the run in. One great moment of football won it for us, where we showed our class & Ricky scores with a great volley! This squad know how to win under pressure, & get the job done. Onward's & upward's
  4. http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/won't-get-fooled-again-lyrics-the-who/761ef79aab42fa9c48256977002e72f9 I was going to edit some of the lyrics for this, but when you read them it doesn't need any altering. sums them up a treat IMHO. The few wont get fooled again & again & again ad infinitum LOL
  5. Oh I just love that UNABLE really! Its not like they were unable is it, they simply chose not to pay their taxes & instead chose to spend the tax money on expensive players on ridiculous wages that they couldn't afford.
  6. And If I've read everything right so far today that doesn't include the money owed to Sacha! so at best it means 9.4 mill at worst 12.4 doesn't leave much of a parachute to float down to earth on does it! Shala la la la la la lah! WTFILN
  7. Wow just in from work & looks like this could really be IT! Could we really be seeing justice done at last, certainly seems that the chickens are finally coming home to roost! There would be some poetic justice in all this if the points lost by other clubs were to ensure our promotion. So whats that elephant in the corner? oh he's just come out to play
  8. Sorry it took so long, been having computer problems. checked the promotion season prog's, Williams definitely No:-4 Holmes :-10 Bally :-7. What had me confused was that a couple of the away prog's had the numbers mixed up, which I'd seen on line. Anyway we have had some magnificent No sevens as said. All equally important at different times through our history. I was not privileged to have seen Terry Paine in his pomp. Le-Tiss had pure magic in his feet. Bally was our heart beat & leader on the pitch. Lambert has really stepped up to the mark & although he is a True no:-9, he deserves to wear what is a special shirt to this club. He may not have the silky skills of a Keegan or Le-Tiss but has does have skills & the talent which will hopefully shoot us back to the top league. Maybe not a legend yet but well on his way.
  9. I thought that initialy but found a program for the promotion year with Williams No:-10. Holmes 4. When I'm home from work I will go in the loft dig out the programes for the promotion year & have a look. I think Williams took over the No:-4 at a later date?
  10. This I can't believe they gave Story teller & Gold a platform to blame all footballs Ills on HMRC. Its all their fault that football clubs don't pay their tax. That T**t story blaming them for not knowing how football clubs are run. What a parasite that pr*ck is. HMRC must take responsibility. Really was quite nauseating, but nothing to be surprised about there then. Typical Poopey scum not our fault.
  11. I have to say that my memory is that Bally was always No:-7. Wasn't Nick Holmes No:-4 ?? But as you say could be my memory playing tricks.
  12. I use the Sky & BBC sports news app just been updated recently, now has today's fixture & scores for each div across the top when there are matches on. It seems quicker to update than the dedicated sky sports football app for me. although the Sky sports football app does have a vidi-printer. Another one to have a look at is soccer score centre. I have it dedicated to Saints which shows in a separate window & you can have text commentary up stats etc on different pages & it also has a vidi-printer. All seem to work ok give them a try & see which you prefer.
  13. If your looking for closure on anything in football, then I think you will always be searching for something you'll never going to find in this game! Football brings massive highs & the lowest of lows, we are on a high at the moment. From the depths of administration & relegation to the third tier of football. To the highs of Wembley, even though only the JPT, promotion last season, and the potential of promotion this year. For every closure you find, I'm sure the next low will be hiding around the corner just waiting to bite us on the A**e. Its living through the low's that make the good days so special. The only thing that needs addressing for me through that sorry period, is in April when hopefully we smash a bag-full of goals past the skates & potential put a massive nail in their relegation coffin.
  14. Yes heard that, Adrian Durham (normally a complete *****) really has the skates firmly in his sights. And this statement really sums up why they are so in the s**t once again. Blatant cheating, seems that a lot of people are running out of patients with the blue few now, and about time to!
  15. I can see us winning it, we've come back to form at the right time. We have a very strong squad now top 2 is more than realistic. But I want to win it I'd just love to see us win a league for once. WIFM
  16. Well done Rickie 3rd Hatrick of the season great to be back top again. Good 3-0 win away from home, can't ask for more than that.

  21. Lambert down again off the ball. Get him off now & get Sharp on.
  22. The Reading game will be vital, they are playing very well at the moment. And they don't concede many either. They are the ones I fear most.
