The thing is its ok for Chanrai to say he won't let them get liquidated, and will take control. But will he really pass the F&PPT? I know it's almost impossible to fail! So the supposed firesale has so far failed to materialise, the players seem reluctant to go as they know their wages are covered by parachute payments. Liquidation brings them free transfers & add on's in signing on fee's! Well done AP, laid the foundations for our team. And well done on a great season for Newcastle. Both Pardew & Adkins have played a part in our success over the last three seasons. Adkins has added the right blend to Pardews mix, & turned this group of players into an unbelievably tight team/squad who play football the right way.

If we stick to our principles, and continue to play football the right way I see no reason we cannot continue to prosper. Would I take 17th now, yes but I think with 3/4 good signings then we can easily do what Swansea & Norwich have done. Aim for the stars if we fall a little short then no problem.

I think you'll find the rules are you are not allowed to start two consecutive seasons in the same administration. Stockport County were close to being ejected from the league, they went into admin same season as us. then played the entire next season in administration. The next close season after that, they came close to the fixtures being announced & only just agreed a deal in time to get their golden share reinstated. So nothing to do with points penalties, Poopey could go all season in admin, but would not be allowed to start the season after that unless a deal was agreed! Further points deductions would probably occur without a CVA, Failure & re-negotiation of the original CVA. Trying to come out of administration without a new CVA etc! etc!

Please no. I don't see that Green is any better than Davis. He doesn't fit the type of player we seem to look to sign. I'd see us going for either Schmeichel or Hennessey at Wolves, an up and coming keeper.
