Steve Mills would have been Fantastic Mark Dennis-if he could have kept his temper under control the original psycho. Bridge & bale for the younger generation are all worthy candidates. but for me It has to be David Peach he defended reliably, was good going forward, good crosser of the ball & had a great (if not the best) penalty record at the time. All round quality for the left back position.

From the looking at the tackle on virgin media they both went into the tackle with 2 feet off the ground & was nothing more than a 50-50 challenge, if Euell had been a fraction of a second earlier would the Wolves player have had the red card instead??? Because that is what we are talking about BOTH players did the same thing therefore if Euell deserved a red card then so did the Wolves player, as the "intent" was the same. You can argue that all our spendings off this season have been technically correct, but when these same things occur in other games & against us & nothing is done we do seem to be getting the Butt end of the decisions at the moment. But isn't that always the way when at the bottom of the league.

I'd like to offer my apologies for having the odd negative thought throughout my 38-years supporting the Saints. Could I suggest that the Mods organize a time on Friday when everyone could log on & if we all think positively together we will walk this league.

If we are to stay up then we must start getting something when playing well. Unfortunately playing well & loosing gets you nothing. it does give some hope for the future but we seriously need to start turning performances into points. Keep you heads up lads.
