OK - I just thought maybe a devoted poll, or even temporary sub-forum or something - with some hard statistics - might provide some interesting insights without being lost in the mire of a single hectic thread. if you're looking for wholesale change, and ideas for different ways to work, it seems to me that a tangible collective view on some things could be beneficial. Ultimately, you can't please everyone, but if everyone has the opportunity to have a voice in a consensus, surely user would be more likely to accept the way things are because of.. again.. this kind of mandate? If a majority think the rules need adjusting, for example, then it would be logical to assume that complaints will go down because most users that care either way would have had a role in shaping the system..?

An interesting approach - is it worth (just a thought) having a general feedback poll on some of the core issues as the user base sees it? I know this isn't a democracy, but this is nothing without the users, I'm sure you'd agree. So a general feel for how the population of the board feels about certain issues - could this be a decent start, providing a modship mandate of sorts? Ie - less or more controls in terms of infractions for different things.. or just whether generally to be tight on the 'isms' etc or let 'banter' have a free-er reign etc.. Plus other questions? I'd be a great mod. This is because Stu, Turkish etc hate me. Sweet.

Yeah, but others are mental. Ponty is leaving too? He was another good mod, if a little overweight. This genuinely worries me as a user - why are the mods jumping ship? Are Baj and Steve leaving too? I know them both so I know they're reasonable guys - so I am genuinely interested as to what's happening. This will be an utter farce if there are no mods bar the two owners, devoted as they are. Two isn't enough for this place I'd have thought, and Baj and Steve are both busy guys too.

Sorry if this had been covered, but what the hell is going on? Why has St landrew suddenly quit completely? I've been told other mods are leaving, too. I'm not moaning about the 'owners' or anything, just.. seems something funny is going on if reliable people like St L are just saying "enough", for good...?

I'm confused.

It's genuinely a bit different this year, and I'm only a die-hard in that there's never been a decent PC Fifa offering which is how I play, and I have no real idea about this years FIFA. I'd try it again, because the recent console quick games I've had have been OK. I have always liked the 'feel' of PES more, even in the rubbish years, but it's not out of some loyalty. I just think people, incl. you, slate PES. It's never been a terrible game, just some weaker efforts. The core needs updating further, but it's been a decent enough game for years - and Fifa simply wasn't for a long time, and again, may still not be for PC.

I'm no die-hard. I just like loling at you, Marco. LOL!

I do think it's stupid if fans can't take it back - I just suspect that ALL clubs have a proportion of their fans like this.

You say you don't, but you genuinely seem to revel in FIFA getting better scores and so on. i know you're going to say something back about working in the undustry, or just wanting the best game, or being the little guy who doesn't like companies treating consumers badly by trotting out bad games - but you honestly don't come across as impartial at all.
