Bored of Fifa already Baj, or just wondering if PES is better? The more I play it the more I get into it; it is def. the best one for ages. it's not perfect, and there are some annoying things that you sort of think, "Why the hell did they make this worse... or not sort this, that" etc, but overall it's good.

I haven't really played this years FIFA much, but I have made some fair observations from my point of view about recent iterations, and accept many of PES's failings. Above all, I really think people can play whatever. Both are decent games, clearly, and you go about saying PES sucks, which evidently it does not. The scores simply don't reflect a game that sucks. 60% is the worst score it has got, which is hardly a disaster, and if it averages around 80% then it doesn't take someone with even a maths GCSE to work out that it does not 'suck'. Things like this show why your comments are often so utterly laughable. You don't say much of value, despite claiming to represent the industry and so on, and you fail to back anything you say up in any compelling or convincing way. Your arguments for a case sound - and are presented like - those in the daily mail, or in a year 7 debating class, using convenient, stupid or one sided evidence without ever offering anything to balance them. You clearly - clearly - have an agenda, which is fine, but you never admit it. you do what you accuse others of, by having a preferred one then w*nking on about it. Then, if challenged, even with entirely appropriate and well evidenced comment, you stamp your feet and cry off. Grow up. Most professional footballers can run with the ball at their feet quite consistently, Marco. Maybe you never play or have never seen a match, but even I can run with the ball a little bit. It's very rare to see a player just run and then lose the ball unopposed unless doing a silly trick; the same applies in PES and I don't see an issue with that.

I think it's pretty good. Not perfect in a lot of ways, but decent. One thing that annoys me a bit (and I know it's because they are trying to stop blatant imbalance) is that top end speed harldy means anything. It's fractional for most players, but a game should be like that - if you get someone away with real pace - Walcott etc - they shouldn't be caught. It's not quite elastic band stuff, but it's a bit bothersome to have Defoe caught by some lumbering CB, for example. He can accelerate quicker and do people with a burst, which works well, but top end should matter more.

My biggest problem with the more recent versions of FIFA is I got bored of them way before I did with PES - that's not slating FIFA, just explaining why I've always maintained a fondness for the latter. I can't decide whether it's because of game modes being less engaging or whether there just never feels the same level of variety, dynamism etc with FIFA.
