Have to admit to a wave of optimism on the back of the 3 wins. So much so, that when I did the 'BBC predictor', without getting too carried away, I had us finishing comfortably clear of relegation in 17th place with 53 pts. Barnsley(45), Norwich(44) and Charlton(35) were relegated. Wolves and Reading up with Brum/Cardiff/Sheff U/Swansea in the playoffs. With our new-found spirit and confidence it could happen. Doesn't change my view of what this club need though - Lowe/Wilde Out!

Dear Gordon A small favour if you will.... In your role as PM you travel around the country, and the world, and meet many rich, powerful and influential people. I wonder if you'd mind in future letting them know that there is a football club here, badly mis-managed in recent times that has massive potential, and is available at a very reasonable price. Oh and as you witnessed first hand - the catering is great too! Failing that perhaps you could temporarily nationalise the club, invest a little to re-establish premiership status and when restored to its former glories - sell at a massive profit to the taxpayer. many thanks etc.......

I'm not convinced by Dyer, a few good games a season seems to keep him employed but I'm not sure he's got what it takes to be anything other than a journeyman. Still think there's a deal to be done. Lets face it 5/600k in, plus 2.5 years at £5k/wk? off the wage bill = a benefit of around £1.25m - I'm sure Mr Barclay would like that

I spoke to an ex-player before Xmas and he mentioned that there was another Dutch guy in the mix (not Gorre) - he thought his role was primarily recruitment (I assumed he meant player recruitment although that was not explicitly confirmed).
