My Grandma coulda saved that and she's been dead for decades. Poor keeper being covered up by a good back 6 and when he is exposed, like today, he' s not up to it -
You look like Paul Scholes - I could be wearing your shirt next season

IMHO, definitely need to get Jack Cork back in the team he gives us so much more all-round, and maybe then Morgan can get back to being the dominant force he was last season. I agree with the OP that 3 required in the middle at Anfield, and we have plenty of options up front - and from the bench. Not really important who starts up front but getting a result there would be huge. 4 points dropped in the first 2 home games could made up for with a second away win. And Rickie to score the winner at his spiritual home would perpetuate the fairy tale !!

Isn't it about the TEAM tho - the collective and how they perform as a unit - not about individuals. You could have the best player in the world in each position and put them all together and if they didn't gel they wouldn't necessarily win anything. Fox may not be the best left back or back-up left back in the league but he's an integral part of a TEAM of people who collectively were the 14th best in the league last season. We believe that TEAM has been strengthened by adding Dejan and Victor (and maybe others on the way) but its how they integrate and how the TEAM performs that will determine if we can do better this season. Rickie is our talisman/hero but think back to the times on this forum last season when we had remarks like " didnt look interested" "not in the game" "seems to have lost his spark". But he scored 15 goals and rightly is enjoying the spoils of that. It's not about individuals its about the TEAM. NC / MP ( and the Committee) know that and whether retaining or acquiring players, how they fit into the collective is a very important aspect in making their decisions. Excellent Team spirit is worth more points in a season than Fox's mistakes will cost us.

SSN's tweeted that Higuain (and Reina) are having medicals at Napoli

Get the f**ker in , sort him out, and watch him flourish. I dont think NC or MoPo will shy away from an undoubted talent because he's a stroppy git - Remember 'Mad dog' Boruc - isn't he just a puppy these days - and Ossie would soom calm down in the delights of the New Forest - al-fresco crapping with Punch, and jet-skiing over the crystal blue waters of Lepe Beach - what more could a centre forward want?

According to an overheard conversation at the last home game, Micaela (Mrs R) is not a happy bunny - climate/family and all that - and I'm sure we all know that if 'er indoors' isn't happy, concentrating on getting your free kicks on the spot can be a bit of a problem. Perhaps Uncle Nic could pop round and iron things out and we can look forward to fullfilled potential next season - unless of course Mrs R gets her own way and he's banging them in for Fiorentina!!

How long till we get a song for the Sheriff?

Pep to Bayern then - looks like Nigel's job is safe for now and Rafa can drop the 'Interim' bit from his title - unless of course we give them a good spanking tonight in which case after 3 straight home defeats he'll probably be down the dole tomorrow morning!! COYR

Would agree with saint triumph it was like a home game. 1st half Yeovil stayed in their own half and tried to hit us on the break and at the moment we don't have the confidence or the craft to break teams down like we did last season. Lallana and Lambert, fit and on form would do that for us and thats the big miss. Without that Spiderman and Deano are workmanlike in midfield but rarely threaten and as such are easily contained by opposition filling the midfield. All too often they have to play the ball sideways or backwards because there are no options going forward. Barnard runs his legs off and Lambert 'shows' for balls but all to often the ball just comes straight back. Seabourne defends well but his distribution is patchy and several times last night he gave the ball away. Harding for me was our best player he defends and covers well and is always ready and willing to bomb on when theres a chance. Would've liked to see Dickson or Holmes given a run late on to see if they could create a chance. On the bright side 4 from 6 in 2 away games - but we need to improve fast if we really want to be playing in the Championship next season. Crowd were subdued like the team - maybe it was just the open terrace and the rain - highlight was the people in the covered stand singing - "Where's your brolly gone?" to us soggy souls on the terrace. Beat Bum-mouth on Sat and we'll reflect on 7 pts from 9 and think what was a good week it was.

..........ever seen a Cat with a open brolly up its arse? - you may do tonight ;-)
