Did we really need another thread started for this drivel?

Why should he be bothered that the club didn't inform him of the interest from Liverpool?,hes under contract to saints or am I being too simplistic? When he signed a contract with us he must of been happy with it,have we changed his contract without him knowing?,is he on less money? Are we forcing him to do things against his contract terms?.....I'm guessing no So whats the problem ?

I blame the club for lack of discipline,all of the players that have left were under long term contracts and it seems that they have been allowed to move on with little or no fight/desire to keep them and this sends out the wrong message to the rest of the squad. The board look like easy pushovers who will crumble under the slightest threat from the players or their agents and they have sown the seeds for future imminent transfers away from the club,if they had stamped down hard on lallana then it would have sent a strong message to other clubs and to other players that the board are controlling things and not the spoilt brat players......if they refuse to play then let them sit out,fine them for not playing and discipline them,otherwise there isn't any point to contracts. The club has handled it all very badly and it looks bad to us lot let alone outsiders,the whole thing stinks of amateurism im afraid.

I like it but im not a kit buyer though so not really bothered,i expect the kids will want it though. A football kit is not something you can look good in so its not for me but i expect lots will buy it.

Apart from us, who in the world would want Southampton or any similar sized club to win the league nearly every season? It is not good business and won't bring money into the premier league .

Your job is to pay your money,turn up and go home thats it! If u dont want to do that then thats fine,somebody else will take your place.

Which isn't impossible,where does that leave him? Obviously he'll be back here but his heart wont be in it and i should imagine there will be people giving him a hard time. So how will you react ?

This unfortunately is the price of success,we are a selling club, always will be a selling and when you have a good season you appear on the radar of clubs.....it's not ideal but get used to it. The academy is just another income stream, nothing more nothing less,just think of it as that and you won't disappointed.

And nothing you can do or say will change any of it if true,the club is privately owned by a rich family and they can more or less do as they please. My advice to you is safe your stress and just go with it.

Thank **** i dont have to hear that stupid friggin song again, it didn't make sense and was shockingly bad. On a positive note we need to adapt it to use it against him when he brings his spurs team to st Mary's. Any ideas ?

He has to be given permission to talk with spurs,so if this is the case then isn't obvious that the saints board are not fussed about keeping him?,if they wanted to keep him they would have told spurs to **** off

Its because its crap,did it last year at a cost of nearly 4k and it wasn't worth half that.

The place was full of them today and it made for a **** atmosphere. Thank god most of them left when we went 3 down. If any of you bought tickets for friends and relatives for today's game as a christmas present then hold your head in shame and don't ever do it again.
