i used to sit in the kingsland corner and also used to sit in the itchen corner but i must say i didnt miss it at all,i am now sat in block 34 and it seems a better view. i dont really think it affected the atmosphere,it was just as crap as last season.

im afraid that finances comes first and the football second,it not nice but we have to take our medicine,you all knew it was coming so why the surprise?

good performance by saints for the first half,we seem to play a bit better when stern plays in that forward position rather McGoldrick. i dont want to put too much of a downer on it but i hope that the managemet team learn to be a bit more tactically aware for the whole game and not just the first half,as it seemed we didnt really have anything to counter the brum tactics in the second half. all in all i was happy with the football but not the result,it just stings a bit that the winner was scored by phillips and they didnt really deserve the win.

reported to be in his contract that if a prem club comes calling then he can move on,it is hard but you cant blame him. nothing has been finalised and he is still 'in talks' but it looks likely he will go.

and whats your plan b when everybody gets p1ssed off with your moaning? change the fvcking record and stop the witch hunt. so what if some people like lowe and some people dont,does it really matter? perhaps there isnt a plan b,perhaps we cant afford a plan b,perhaps everything is being dictated by the banks because we are in finanancial meltdown in which case the plan b has already been decided by the banks. lowe might not be everybodys cup of tea but it is the only drink we have at the moment so drink up big boy and enjoy the football,stop the moaning and keep your fingers crossed that we dont end up an extinct club.................because tbh the only thing we can realisticly wish for is for us to just keep treading water until we are out of this financial mess. you may not like lowe but you have to agree that he is doing the best he can by trimming back the outgoings of the club,it might not be popular but at least we still have a team to support,something i fear would not have happened if the other lot were still in charge.

after watching birmingham last week against sheff utd,i wouldnt say they were a good team.....they were absolute sh1te and didnt have a shot on goal in the 90 mins,so i am optimistic about our chances and will be there as normal giving my full support. i was also at exeter on tuesday night and although i saw some scary stuff i also saw a lot of good ball playing with a bit of pace and skill thrown in for good measure. went to the ticket office yesterday and all they had left in the itchen was seats in block 10.....dont know about the rest of the ground.

im talking about the grounds where you have to actually walk across the pitch from one side to the other to get to the dugout. grounds like the dell,where the tunnel is in the corner dont count.

i have followed saints all over the country and europe for the best part of 40 years and have visited 100's of grounds, but last night (i think?) is the first time i have ever seen the dugout on the opposite side of the pitch to the changng rooms,i may be wrong as the memory is not what it used to be. anybody know of any others?

i dont know the bloke but didnt he have a 'fall out' with the club a few years ago about the use of saints copyright to advertise his seats? i may be wrong? perhaps this has been brewing for a number of years and the club have taken the oppurtunity for retribution.

i spent a lot of the game last night watching mcgoldrick,not because i am a stalker but because last season i wasnt convinced that he was able to hack it in this league.he has pace when needed and he has skill,he just needs to gain a bit of workrate. i know he is still young and a bit wet behind the ears but he really needs to up his game to push on. he did score 2 last night but his workrate off of the ball is virtually non existant,this is ok if he continues to score goals but if he hits a dry spell then he will be in trouble. he is at a crucial crossroads in his development and if he is not careful he will end up as the new ricardo fuller,instead of something a lot better. lazy or legend? over to you mcgoldrick.

tbh i paid my money but think it has become a bit boring and sterile on here,hopefully it will pick up. i long for the days when a low post screwball used to come on and stir the sh1t,rubbing people up the wrong way etc.

i for one am looking forward to the new season. this is the first time i have been looking forward to a season for a few years. i just hope that win,lose or draw i see some good entertaining football from a young and hungry bunch of talented players. bring it on coyr.

lazy journalism imo. most of the team are virtually unknown quantities as well as the new management team so i suppose the knobjockys have taken the easy route and opted for us to go down. complete sh1t imo,we will be a surprise package.
