  1. Well said sir!!
  2. Thank you so much Nigel. You made our club clean again. That clown Cortese has taken us back to the dark days and I honestly feel that relegation is what he deserves but once again it's us supporters that will suffer. Maybe there will be good times ahead with our non-English speaking manager (can't remember his name) but right now I'm not sure I want any part of it.
  3. Perhaps NC will consult the supporters on this one. Yeah right!
  4. Hate the kit with a passion but more upset about how the club went about it. This is the one area where it wouldn't do them any harm to canvass the supporters.
  5. The Rangers game was 2 legs in The pre-season Texaco Cup (previously known as Anglo-Scottish). Totally outnumbered at The Dell (large contingent of locally based Scottish dock workers) but we still won 2-0. We then won 3-1 at Ibrox - Channon, Osgood and O'Neil scored. Think we outnumbered them 3 to 1 at Ibrox (that bit might be a lie)!!
  6. Got to be West Ham's Olympic Stadium!!
  7. All this goes to show that we a good all round - Rickie for me.
  8. Take on board all the criticisms (particularly lack of pace) and do get frustrated that we like to encourage AOC and Lallana to play inside allowing the full-backs space but that's another debate. The fact is that with Lee Barnard in the side, Rickie Lambert appears to be far more effective - a genuine partnership.
  9. Totally accept that he's played his last game but all this does call into question Adkin's judgement as to what makes a decent player if Puncheon's out N'Guesson and Forte are considered good enough. Does it really matter if Puncheon is a **** off the field - we were crying out for him last night.
  10. It's a dreadful and embarassing song and shows a lack of respect to the beautiful Dell!
  11. Top, top performance today. Puncheon must stay.
  12. We've had some greats - but none better than Ivan Golac. Ronnie Ekelund would have been but for injury.
  13. Here's a little fact. Brian O'Neil served a 9 week ban which stood as a record until 2005 when David Prutton got sent off for having a pop at the linesman against Arsenal and received a ludicrous 10 week ban. Prutts is the father of O'Neil's grandaughter!!!!
  14. We have been clearly lacking pace and width this season. Holmes is the best crosser of a ball in the club so deserves a chance. Not about guly though.
  15. Don't forget the website. http://www.londonsaints.com Contact details, etc.
  16. Lacks pace but decent crosser. Beckham made a half-decent career out of that!
  17. Haven't they learned anything from Terry and Upson?
  18. After the last few Summers it makes a nice change for things to go quiet - and then there's the World Cup!
  19. A special kit in 2003 uefa cup didn't do us much good - stick to the stripes
  20. Sorry, meant Wotton
  21. I think the ovation he got when subbed said it all.
  22. Unsurprisingly it came about over pre-match beers at The Avenue involving half a dozen Lonson Saints members before a home game last season and developed from there
  23. Just got back. A dreadful performance with no creativity. Carlisle were poor and there for the taking. It's easy to blame the midfielders but they were simply missed out with long ball tactics. We're letting oppo dictate the pace with no wide play at all. Getting a little worried about Pardew as failing to see any pattern.
  24. It was against Man Utd 82ish. It was 2-2 at the time - a cracking overhead volley from KK but Armstrong had strayed offside (would be allowed today). Armstrong made amends by scoring the winner a few minutes from time!
