Its amazing how recent success has turned some people's heads. He's entitled to an opinion as much as anyone, the fact the guy is famous and in the public eye doesn't mean he can't say what he thinks. With all this talk of ambition I take it should the new guy be a success and leave us for a bigger club, we will have not one post from the these people about loyalty in the game? Any player can go, contracts can be torn up as ambition is the way forward. If Adkins had to go then so be it but just for once I'd like this club to show a bit of class. Adkins was a magnificent manager for us and to sack him just when we're turning a corner is at best badly timed, at worst petulant and egotistical. The problem a lot of us have is that the new guy is an unknown quantity, if he takes us a step further then could be a shrewd move but Adkins deserved better. I'll still go to the games, get behind the new man but can't help but feel a good man has been let down. Some might want ambition, I just want to feel good about my club.
