  1. This thread isn't dead. It wasn't dead after Antonov took over so I don't see why a takeover from a bunch of loons like th PST means this thread is any closer to ending? You'll only regret locking it when something hilarious pops up and forces you to unlock it. This will run and run...
  2. I must be a bit dim, was there a part where they mentioned paying any money back?
  3. Before everyone gets all dewy eyed lets not forget the cancer charity money Pompey purloined from equally well meaning fans only to use it to pay Dave Kitsons wages for a week....
  4. But surely if you take on the assets and the league status/standing then surely you're liable for the debt or at least part of???? It seems these muppets want to have their cake and eat it.... You want a penalty then take away their history, don't pay your debts but your club starts from next season on.... What would they talk about??
  5. Sorry but how can these morons talk about turning a profit when they've not paid a penny back of their debt???? Is it in never never land now??? You owe money.... Pay some of it back for common decencys sake!
  6. According to Pompey News on Facebook Connelly has signed a new contract so any hope of a reasonable budget has gone right out if the window... An injury prone old striker... It just keeps getting better and better...
  7. Excuse me if I'm coming across as a bit dense but why are they even thinking about expansion let alone talking about it? They barely half filled Fratton Park at a time when they desperately need matchday income just to keep jobs afloat, why on earth would they even consider expanding a ground that was half empty in a league above the one they're going to be spending time in??
  8. What's the point if they never fill it as it is?
  9. Really? This coming from a club whose fans couldn't even organise that? Perhaps you could post a link to the fund raising game you lot organised? This harping on about an aborted fund raising game is pretty pathetic really, especially when you remember long has it has taken you to raise your money? Quite shocking really... Now stop deflecting the question; why, when you know that bums on seats would pay wages, save jobs, attract potential buyers, did your club lose 9,000 fans?? You're the bestest fans in world football, surely those 9000 people who were there for the glory years would be there for the most basic action for any football fan? If you want to take the **** about the cancelled fund raising game, I'm sure you'll be more than chatty about Pack The Park.... Leeds United at home Players selling tickets at the ground 12,000 attendance... Your club needed bums on seats just to pay the wages let alone convince prospective buyers you were a viable business. Your fans stayed away in droves.. So you'll forgive me if I don't join in the mass sobathon that is Portsmouth Football club...
  10. One game all season, so it takes a takeover to fill your ground but saving people's jobs, paying the bill etc isn't reason enough to fill your ground? I take it none of you gets that..
  11. Ok, so bearing in mind I'm monumentally naive in the ways of finance but can someone explain: "Iain McInnes said today the debt will £0 and the club will be relatively cash rich for the first time in many years," To my knowledge they haven't paid anything from cva's 1 and 2 so how do they work out they owe nothing? Don't they owe that percentage of the first percentage, so to speak? From £120 million odd to zero without paying anything from two cva's??? Can't be right surely?
  12. So at stage do they get the big points deduction?
  13. So I take it that as soon as they "own" the club then the penalty must be applied? Coventry must be watching this like hawks...
  14. Has anyone answered this? If they have exited Administration then I take it points deduction is imminent?
  15. I can see where you're coming from on this... But Stoke are one of those clubs that game-wise I just don't get. It's been pointed out on here that it's a myth that they're "plucky Stoke," they've spent a lot of money on some very average players, played some decidedly ugly football and generally do little to enhance the league. That said I can think of several teams I'd like relegated above them. Reading, their fans are an absolute joke. Leaving after 75 minutes, waving back at us when we sang "cheerio" and generally being pretty ****.. QPR, need I say more Wigan, considering the money that Whelan has pumped into the club, their attendances are pathetic. You're in the Premiership, act as if it means something.. West Ham, just carrying on from last season, you're not a big club. Stop acting as if you are. Oh and Allardyce is the anti christ.
  16. You had me at "still"
  17. How many players did Villa have on goal for their third? Shocking defending. Agree totally with the op. stoke are a club that has pretty much ruined every game they've played in. Wouldn't miss them at all if hey went own...
  18. Is anyone interested in yours? I must be the first person to ever reply to one of your juvenile posts....
  19. Were you at Reading? He had a poor game today and we were better when Lallana came on. Doesn't make him a poor player just someone who had a poor game today. Or are people not allowed to question players and their role in a game??
  20. On today's evidence you'd have to say yes. I'd hope he wasn't fully fit as he was well off the pace...
  21. I don't think anyone takes pundit's predictions that seriously. I remember getting all hot under the collar at Rodney Marsh's comments about Saints, abut how we were there to make up the numbers and not that big a draw. That was until Saints got relegated and I found myself getting bored ****less watching the likes of Bolton, Wigan and West Brom and realised he was right but I was wearing my red and white specs.. The real point here is that he guy's predicted we'll lose 15 times in a row. That's not a vendetta, that's just ****ing incompetent.
  22. God I hate Piers Morgan on Twitter. He's the ultimate celebrity, fan without a clue, type pundit. One week Wenger has to go, the next he has to stay... Horrible little man...
  23. Best quote: "Johnny Ertl has never scored a Football League goal, having signed for Crystal Palace from Austria Vienna in 2008. He has notched up 110 league appearances for Palace, Sheffield United and Portsmouth. His only goal in English football came in a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in the FA Cup fifth round during his time at Selhurst Park. " Wonder why it was such a no brainer? lol
  24. You would have thought that after the Portsmouth shambles, people might view Lowe a bit more reasonably? But alas, no, for some he's still the antichrist... ?
  25. Saints play in Red You play in Blue You're financially Ruined And off to League Two Happy Valentines Day Pompey
