  1. The PST board has been advised that Enterprise The Business Credit Union Limited has entered administration. We understand that each supporter who purchased a share using this method will be contacted individually by the administrators Cork Gully. Read more at http://www.pompeytrust.com/news/pst-statement#JYdBIK3ksCGwleH7.99 So what are the ramifications here?
  2. Want: Not sure I want QPR to go down now Redknapp's gone. I'd quite like it if they survive despite him rather than bcause of him... same for Sunderland. That said, QPR wanted to be called a Boutique club so they deserve relegation for that alone and Sunderland are just a waste of time... For me I'd like to see Leicester survive for no other reason than Nigel Pearson. so... Villa, QPR and Sunderland Expect: Burnley, Sunderland, Hull Promotion? Want: Bournmouth deserve it, there's been times you think they've blown it, only to come back again... and again. Norwich, decent club, decent set up and Brentford, just for the optimist in me... Expect: Bournemouth, Watford, Wolves
  3. I interviewed Bill many moons ago for Beautiful South, a lovely, lovely man. One of the best footballers i've interviewed... On a lesser note the club forgot about Bill when it came to tickets for the last game at the Dell, we got him and Ros tickets for that game... Back in the dark ol' days...
  4. So what about a hopeful punt from the halfway line that could head towards the goal but gets intercepted? Is that on target? You cannot class an blocked shot as being on target, it's like saying a darts players throws a darts it doesn't hit treble twenty but it could have... Whichever way you look at it that article is click bait, nowt more...
  5. Well if his head is in Liverpool, I'd hate to think what body part is in Madrid...
  6. Apart from the fact I called him Kenny" Hibbert for 30 minutes... So embarrassd..
  7. Just had a vision of them snorting washing powder...
  8. And I doubt anyone moaned about the Poles when they were flying spitfires...
  9. In dry... It was like being abused... Genius..
  10. Voodooed? Is someone down the M27 sat with a doll and a pin?
  11. Portsmouth fc, the Pannini of the hooligan world... "we came, we saw, we placed a sticker under your seats..." Oh how the mighty have fallen...
  12. But the club can reduce travel or make some sort of offer for those people who made the trip? If I was the club I'd give those fans a voucher for use sometime this season in recognition of the fact they travelled so far to see a reserve team...
  13. Don't have a problem with Saints fielding a reserve team for a game... just as long as they charge reserve team prices. When people travel 600 miles round trip for evening game, well.. they deserve a bit of respect...
  14. I can't see the problem with reminding ourselves every so often of just how far we've come in so short a time... The moment we forget is the moment we become Pompey...
  15. Sorry, but I was under the impression that Lallana's been outstanding this season and pundits have been mentioning him for England... again... Lallana or Ince? No brainer for me, Adam all day long...
  16. And even more interesting considering that they got slated for not buying big and then surprise everyone by their start to this season... which is not as good as last year... Odd...
  17. Exactly, no agenda, just useless....
  18. I'm not sure if Lawrenson is just inept or has a ludicrous agenda against us. Hugely unlikely its the latter but I think some people on here should have a look at the amount of times he predicted us to lose on the trot and then judge the people who get irate at the bloke... Wasn't it something like 17 consecutive predictions of us losing? That'd p1ss me off as well...
  19. And here is the problem, it's not so much the prices inside St Marys it's the prices outside that are dictating things. I'd hazard a guess and say that some of the people mocking attendances aren't that badly off money wise. £35 isn't that much in the big scheme of things but you can double that with drinks, food, transport etc etc. £140 a month then can be quite an ask when other bills are mounting up. I haven't had a season ticket for a while. I last had one during the Championship campaign but with a new job, more expenditure to get to that job (Fratton of all places) I just can't justify one these last two years. Hell, I'm getting married this year, I suddenly have priorities above football and in a recession I'd guess I'm not alone. I really can't see how attendances can be such an issue when the country is in a hole financially. I couldn't possible slate anyone for not going when times are so tight....
  20. It used to matter to me if people went to games etc etc. Nowadays I don't really give a sh1t, as long as you love the Saints that's all that matters to me...
  21. Got to love the Aussie fans, the time difference makes watching games kind of tricky... The amount of Aussie photos on Facebook is amazing...
  22. Post of the day..

    Osvaldo

I can't help but feel that Osvaldo's not so much of a confidence player, more of a attention player. I agree, the knock distracted him and he was playing catch up after that. I can't help but feel he needs to be brought into things a bit more, on and off the pitch. Get him feeling, if not loved, then a big part of things and I reckon he'll be pretty damn awesome. I'll be damned if I'll write him off so early on, it will take time to adjust to the more physical English game, where huff and puff is a pre requisite of any modern day Premiership player. I think any flair player gets this sort of attention at some stage in English football.
  24. The Dorchester's good on a matchday. Good streams and plenty of sport...
  25. It's a bit of fun... God we do take ourselves seriously on here sometimes....
