Give him the choice of his current predicament and a surprise prostate examination, and I'm sure he'd welcome the latter.

The sooner that Chelski realise that, unless I'm mistaken, absolutely nobody has the slightest bit of sympathy for them, the better. Play with fire and sooner or later you get burnt.

Honestly guys (and ladies). Can't you see this is a "long term master plan". Historically we are absolutely shit when we play at Goodison Park. So we are doing everything within our power (lost against Norwich, drew against Burnley at home, lost to Watford at home, lost to Newcastle at home.......yet beat Everton comfortably at home) ......to get Everton relegated so we don't have to play at Goodison next year. It's cunning and it's brilliant!!!!

I remember either last season or the season before, Bournemouth used the same shithousery tactics at St Mary's to break up the flow of the game, a player falling down every 5-10 minutes. Obviously it's now being taught at Newcastle by.....um.....Oh, the same Eddie Howe. A few points (apologies if they are mentioned in posts further back in the thread) For me KWP was the best player on the pitch. I felt Broja had a very poor game. Adam Armstrong did more in 18 minutes than Broja did in 72 minutes. We actually looked our most dangerous when he came on......and I appreciate he get's a lot of stick on here. Hindsight is easy, but in retrospect I would have brought him on for the second half as it was clear it wasn't happening for Broja at all. (I'm not slagging off Broja by the way - he has been great for us, but tonight his head didn't seem to be in it. I wonder if the situation at his parent club may have had something to do with it. When all said and done he's still a young kid). Moi got into some really good positions, but seemed scared to shoot. Stu worked his socks off but didn't seem to get the rub of the green in the first half. Little flicks and passes weren't quite working, although I felt he was more effective in the second half. Che never gave up, worked his socks off, won a few flick on headers but Broja didn't seem to be alert to them. If Che's superb first half shot had gone in instead of rattling the bar it would have been a whole different game - fine margins! I thought Salisu looked a bit rusty particularly first half. Poor marking for both their goals. All in all, the feeling I got was - we were never quite "at it" tonight. Changing the subject - it took 3 and a half hours to get there from Newbury due to a lorry fire on the A34 - which meant a bit of "creative parking" when I eventually arrived 10 minutes before kick off. I should have known then, what sort of night it was going to be. I spoke to fans afterward who didn't get there until just before half-time. And on leaving the ground - whoever took the decision to close the M27 junction 8-7 for roadworks on a match night. Thanks very much..................... you utter tosser!

I shall. I'm in the Itchen corner with Chapel. If however, on the off-chance I am having a heart attack, can you get help to me asap. Much obliged. I'm pleased to report I have neither of those. 😀 Week 2 will be "I've broken my thumb nail, below the nail bed and it's bloody sore when I do the washing up" and then Week 3 we'll really startle them "Bloody hell my hemorrhoids are killing me"......see how many medical staff run over for that one!
-
I wonder what the threshold of a medical incident is. I think we need to test it. If we are under a bit of pressure at any time during Thursday's game against Newcastle, I shall start violently and uncontrollably sneezing everywhere and shouting "OH NO, I APPEAR TO BE GOING DOWN WITH A HEAVY COLD" and see if that brings a halt to the game. Perhaps someone else could shout out "OUCH, MY VERRUCA IS REALLY PLAYING UP". We'll gradually increase the severity as the season rolls on.

Surely we want Grealish to play, just so Oriol can renew his acquaintance. Can't wait to see the first coming together they have. My money's on Oriol.
-
Congrats. Best wishes to you, Mrs Skintsaint and the lad.
-
Good Luck Skintsaint. I guess you will be naming the baby, Ralph JWP Le Tiss Channon, (Surname)..........on the other hand, if it's a boy..........😀

WE FEAR NO ONE! If Man City have a bogey team this year....it's us!
-
Get "SAINTS BRASS" to do away with OWTS just for this game and as the teams walk out, play this instead.......🤣 🤣

If it was a World Cup just for full-backs, we'd win it. TTA, James, Trippier, Walker, Shaw, Wan Bissaka, KWP, Livramento, Chilwell, Cresswell, Lamptey to name 11 off the top of my head - there's bound to be others. All very good attacking options and just shows how important "attacking" full-backs are in the current game. Of course, they'd have to be managed by Stuart "Psycho" Pearce.

Scores with his feet, scores with his head He makes defenders wet their bed Ooooh Che Adams, Ooooh Che Adams He can shoot, He can pass He can even score when he's sitting on his arse Ooooh Che Adams, Ooooh Che Adams.
-
They don't seem to have recovered since we beat them. I think we truly knocked the stuffing out of them. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. It would be great to finish above them. I've just read the interview with him - he's basically offering to walk away as he doesn't think he can help them is how I read it. Hardly an inspiring speech. I wonder who will be their next "first choice" coach. Please not Ralp..........no, don't even go there.
-
Apologies if this has been shown elsewhere - but for those who can't attend I've just noticed it is being shown on the BBC (Red button) and BBC iPlayer. https://www.live-footballontv.com/live-english-football-on-tv.html

If "Frankie Lampard's Everton" had sneaked a 0-1 result though, they would probably have been on first or second.
-
Back to OWTS. I took along a mate of mine, who is a Man U supporter. It must have been good because even he joined in singing it. He came to the Brentford game and now the Everton game. I'm slowly converting him, but based on results of the games he's been to, he can come whenever he wants to. (He even jumped and cheered when Shane scored).

Quoting myself here, weird I know, but if it wasn't to be Newcastle (please let it be), then I would settle for the mighty dug outs, Everton. That would be funny. I met some Everton fans at the services on the A34 after the game. We got chatting, and I tried to be diplomatic with them, in the way that I said I thought they'd been absolutely crap and that I was expecting more from them. They were actually decent lads.....and totally agreed. They are genuinely worried, saying that Lampard has inherited a "fucking piss poor squad". They were actually very complimentary about Saints overall organisation and in particular the role of our full-backs. They still had a four and a half hour journey in front of them. I said the only silver lining was, if they carry on playing the way they did against us, they won't have to make the same journey next year!!! 🤣
-
I reckon Burnley might be turning a corner and all of a sudden that puts pressure on Saudicastle, Everrtoffee, Leeds and Brentford and with pressure comes nervousness and that can play havoc with performances. I can see one of those four dropping into the bottom three. I don't mind which one of those four.....as long as it's Newcastle.
-
Yeah I agree. In today's market Stu has to be a £35m + player. And Oriol is invaluable to our system. His understanding with JWP just goes from strength to strength. Hard to put any price on him. And JWP.....playing better than ever. He was everywhere again today. Got to be north of £70m now. Happy Days.
-
Let me help you with your dilemma .....Stuart Armstrong. 😀 I agree, KWP and Romeu were immense, but in my eyes Stu was "immenser". Hope that helps!

With all these storms coming in, I'm expecting games to be cancelled this weekend. Apparently "Storm Trippier" is likely to hit the East London area at about 12.28pm on Saturday just as The Toon are about to kick off against West Ham.
-
Yeah, let's just assume he was allowed to play for us against Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi Final....or indeed the Final, the pressure on him NOT to score would perhaps be too great. Can you imagine it if he scored the winner for us in the Final and the following week had to return to Chelsea as his loan period was over. "Ah welcome back Armanda, Mr Abramovich would like to see you in his office". Ain't gonna happen.
-
Newcastle + Saudi Money + Unceremonious sacking of manager Steve Bruce + Appointment of their "first Choice" coach (NOT!!!) Eddie Howe + Injuries to key players + Cancel games before they can spend the money "allegedly" because of Covid + Winter break "Don't worry about rearranging cancelled games. Let's all go on holiday to......Saudi" + Spend big in January + Buy striker (Chris Wood) from main relegation rival + Buy Trippier, he scores a couple of vital goals and things are suddenly looking better + New striker (the same Chris Wood) yet to score + Trippier breaks foot and could be out for "weeks" = Karma. Just need Saint-Maximin to get injured and I reckon they'll be deep in the mire again.

Nothing trivial I hope.
