  1. We always seem to do well with buying players from Celtic; can't remember any who have been a flop. But hey, you miserable, whinging arseh0les who have already written him off are far, far more knowledgeable.
  2. Great post and shows the reality of the situation and transfer market. In answer to your first question, it's because they have the patience of a gnat and the intellectual capacity of plankton; or are just total w@nkers.
  3. You could have stopped after those 6 words.
  4. Good job that we're a self-sustaining club living within our means then, not living unsustainably and being threatened with HMRC winding up orders (like Villa) so we don't need to "get money out of China". That's something (to use Alpine's phrase) that's down to "fat Kat". Some of our fans are total t@ssers.
  5. I can't now go. 2 tickets available; face value; you will have to pick them up from Bursledon.
  6. And the point of your comment is???...............................
  7. We do have some incredibly spineless, cry baby, wusses who have posted on here. Another manager says he is after a left-footed centre back and they immediately need to run and change their nappies and call for a wambulance because Hoedt is the ONLY left footed person who can play in that position so it must be that nasty Wonald is going to nick him from right under our noses......despite all the quotes from senior officials at his current club FFS!! Jeez, grow some ****ing balls you pansies. Stop living your life as a jelly fish that keeps ****ting itself.
  8. Add in Hoedt and a (possibly) reintegrated Virgil van Tw&T and I think we have the perfect balance of physicality and skill/flair. We will be a good team and hard to beat.
  9. Pretty much how I saw things too. I think Lemina will be great for us. For the first time in ages we looked as if we had some presence in midfield alongside Romeu and weren't going to get bullied out of a game as we have on so many occasions previously. It also allowed us to have greater width through the less physical but more skilful players we have. No longer will we give up the midfield to physically bigger teams and allow them to come on to us. Some very optimistic signs.
  10. No. It makes it crystal clear he will not be sold. I don't see how you can get your interpretation from the actual words of Ralph.
  11. A contribution from my Spurs supporting friend, adapted from something on the main VVD thread. We've got Van Dijk He went on strike We'll make him spend the season in the stands You signed a six year deal You're staying here Virgil We've got Virgil van Dijk
  12. Seriously, some of you w4nkers should consider giving up supporting Saints.
  13. Hope this is true as he is a really good player.
  14. Yes; played most of the season with a hip injury which prevented him pushing off on one leg with as much power as usual and also meant he struggled to get down. Without him playing through the injury and pain last season our options would have been absolutely dire so don't really get all the stick he is getting. He is a very good keeper.
  15. Because he scored in a meaningless friendly in Asia? FFS.
  16. The answer is probably in the first three words of your sentance.
  17. Good post. I don't get this ****fest with what Everton are doing. They had a major rebuilding job to do in any case; if they lose Lukaku it will cause a huge problem for them that I don't see any of their signings fixing easily. Let's wait until the window ends and take a more balanced view when we see what we have signed - better still, wait till the end of the season because IMO we massively under-achieved last year and our new manager looks capable of galvanising our team and getting them to perform.

  19. But none of what he says can be true....we're a laughing stock, Les is ****ing useless and has dropped a b0llock, no one will want to work with our structure.....according to the experts on here.
  20. Good job you trusted in Uncle Les then, because yesterday you were in full nappy wetting mode about Les: "Looks to me like Les has dropped a bollock here. Why wait so long to sack Puel without a replacement signed up? Just incompetent IMO. If we lose Pellegrino to Palace because of our "structure" it's embarrassing. To think we could go from finishing sixth and having a top manager like Pellegrini wanting to manage us to having some second rate Bundesliga manager at the start of next season...frightening. Oh well, in Les we trust as people on here would say." Patience is a virtue and we have a bloody good structure at the club.
  21. Precisely. What the **** will they do with themselves when we appoint someone decent?
  22. What a pompous prat you are.
  23. I reckon we should be patient and wait to see what the outcome is.
