  1. A lot of people like to be doom and gloom merchants and take every opportunity to run the club down - strange behaviour.
  2. Good point...8-)....but not the one I was trying to make.
  3. Technically they aren't borrowing are they, but even so I think they will find that 2% is a very small price to pay for not having politicians on the Board and as majority shareholders. The global ambitions of any bank that has taken Gordon's money are going to be severely ****ed so Barclays are actually in a very good positiopn - all politicians care about is looking good for themselves here in the UK, in general terms they know bugger all about running banks or anything else for that matter.
  4. Why will we go into administration? Companies are forced into admin by their creditors - our biggest creditors are Barclays bank and Norwich Union; we are up to date with VAT/PAYE etc. The two major creditors seem to have bought into the current regime as they have stemmed the losses; why would they push the club into admin when all they will then get is 10p in the £ (or less) of what they are owed? Doesn't make sense; like you I'm no accountant but unlike you, I'm not a boring, miserable doom merchant who seems to want us to go into admin in any case.
  5. More to the point, no one wants to buy football clubs now - just ask that nice Mr Ashley at Newcastle and that dodgy Russian geezer at the Skates.
  6. Can you back any of this up with facts?..esp Lowe taking Cork for granted? Cork has known and worked with Rodgers for years, so it's natural that he wanted to hook up with him again. JP said the club (SFC) wanted to keep him but it was Cork's decision. Can't see it actually has much to do about anything/anyone else really.
  7. Wrong. Again.
  8. The crap spouted on here when MW tries to communicate just goes to show how running a football club can be a thankless task. Whatever you do it's invariably wrong.
