You talk rubbish about NC and the transfer window policy. He (or Adkins) said that clubs we were talking to pushed their asking prices up to unrealistic levels because they thought we were about to get £10M for Chamberlain. If we are to compete with these countries then only the brightest and best should go to University and it should be heavily state funded. This all went tts up when the crazy Labour coots decided everyone should have "the right" to go to Uni and set a target of 50%. When I recruit people I shuuder at some of the candidates who have been to Uni, most with degrees irrelevant to the work place. If that's "our best" we're stuffed aleady.

Maybe he was showing some leadership; telling them that last night wasn't acceptable, they are highly paid privilidged professionals employed by SFC soneed to perform, whilst updating on the search for AP's replacement (their new boss) so that they don't get caught up in all the rumour-mill rubbish?

What? I don't understand. We've had Lallana coming back from injury and it showed in his first game - much better now though. Lambert and Puncheon are only just getting fitness back too; plus some others. . 3+ of our key players not firing on all cylinders so good idea to get everyone playing together and last night was an ideal chance to do that. How you can extrapolate this to meaning Pardew only craes about the cups is beyond me.
